Hooves,I got some money down on that 1 horse in the 4th,but it was very late(and I ONLY DID IT CUZ THEY CUT HIM,and then I saw the best of 59 works from back last October.)Not hittin' on all cylinders right now.Just keepin' head above the water.

Hooves,can't believe you didn't use the 1 horse in the 9th.Ward is greedy(and his helper Blake Heap is very good with speed....I remember some speed horse he kept banking money on in the late eighties...won the big sprint in Phoenix etc.)I can't believe how fat Wesley is now(compared to when I saw him ride at Los Al one time.)

Sorry Hooves. But man I feel sorry for the Moss's. I cant believe that 3 horse broke down after the wire. I wonder if there was something that happened to the horse during the race because he didnt run a lick. So so sad.

He is 2% at the meet,and 3% on the year.They ain't giving that guy much horse.That is just the way it is.They probably got 32k,and somebody got nothing.

Hooves- I am just disgusted with Southern Cal racing. Not for me until we get Santa Anita back. Del Mar is even worse in my opinion. Pretty place but the racing is a first class bore compared to NY.

I know Jose Valdivia and his body is busted up from alot of past riding accidents and he would never jump off to fix a race. The horse bolted and with Joses movement he ended up without a horse under him. After the sour taste of a tough loser you will wish him a speedy recovery as I do.

HOOVES,HE SHOULD OF STAYED UP.I think most jocks would,and I am surprised he couldn't do it.Now,the incident when Stevens horse shifted out on him(IN THE ARLINGTON MILLION)was an unavoidable fall.People are already comparing the 2,but Jose should have been able to stay up.I bet you will hear him admit that in an interview someday,and that he is pssd at himself for falling off.That being said,need the 1 or 4 in the last for doubles.1 is pretty dead on the board.

I had that "Little Gray" also and the way that 2yo stopped I don't think I will be betting it again. Ward doesn't send many horse that are short. Jose Valdivia did break his collar bone when he was unseated.

im sorry for him and i probebly overreacted....just saw no reason he falls of a horse like that...never in 20 years have i seen a guy with seemingly no problem fall off a horse that was about to win ..hope he heals well...

Scuds- That Ward horse almost caused a major accident stopping that bad. What a slug, he should be banned from racing. Thats dangerous. Nice pick by the way :cool:

I had to watch the replay and I was watching New Jersy Jeff. Jose keeps short irons and rides pretty high on a horse and when he darted to the side poor jose was sitting on air. Jose broke his collarbone not that long ago. seems like 16 months ago. We wish him a speedy Recovery. I cashed on the horse he rode in the 5th race, but my luck went to hell after that with all the mishaps. The rider that won't be worth a damn for a while is Alex Solis. He got spooked again.

Maybe so, but this way too much anger for a monday morning. Next weekend will be better.:rolleyes:
