Geez Steve,

Do you ever sleep? Are you sure you don't have an identicle twin that splits time with you?

Great stories. Makes me want to book my flight to Louisville right now.

Payson Dave 04-14-2007 09:36 AM

In discussing the BlueGrass...it seems to me that with the weather/track conditions this race may not be much help in sorting out the derby

saucon17 04-14-2007 09:37 AM

Steve, the groundhog is ________ Willie. The town starts with a W

For You Reppo out of Arkansas Derby
By MARY RAMPELLINI
For You Reppo was scratched from the Grade 2, $1 million Arkansas Derby on Saturday morning. He was one of the top contenders for the mile and an eighth race that will be run on Saturday at Oaklawn Park.

"He bruised his foot somehow," said his trainer, Helen Pitts. "I think he had a big shot."

The defection leaves a field of nine for the Arkansas Derby.

For You Reppo was fourth last out in the Grade 2, $500,000 Lane's End at Turfway Park on March 24. Before that he was second to Chelokee in an allowance a Gulfstream Park. For You Reppo is owned by Trident Stable and was to be ridden by Kent Desormeaux.

In answer to Chuck - Showing Up entered the Derby off 3 starts and I think made a VERY good showing of himself...

ArlJim78 04-14-2007 11:02 AM

Thanks. I did not think of him. I guess 6th beaten 10 lengths is not that bad but VERY good would be a stretch
