7/6,7,8/4,6,8,9,10/1,5,7

R6 - 2 8 9 11
R7 - 2 6
R8 - 4 12
R9 - 1 4 5 = $48

How about #5 Ide Be O for Ten in the 7th. The 8yr old gelding is 1 for 77 is his career with the win coming on the Tampa lawn.

Good Racing Luck

R6) PK4

Super tough PK4 today... started with a $600 ticket, and then had to chop away, calling off the turf after the 1st really didn't help matters all that much either

here's what i came up with

78 11
148 (value in the 1; lots of speed in this race)
346 (started with 6 horses, down to 3, tough MC)
238 (tons of value in the #3, Mark Frostad trained, 12-1 ML) = $81

gl all

Been watching (in the closet!) for a few weeks and am so amazed by the skill of so many of the regulars on here - just love the dialogue and bantering, not to mention the great capping skills! Am watching and hopefully learning!!!!

Coach Pants 04-09-2007 03:27 PM

I hope Kev played his ticket. That's a baller score.

T3B is back!

Awesome Bro.

GPK 04-09-2007 05:34 PM

Thanks everyone. I had the intent on playing this ticket today. I woke at 3:30 and couldn't get back to sleep, so I figured I would cap the Pick 4. Went into work at 7:30 this morning...and didn't have any relief until 5:00 this afternoon...so I was unable to go on my lunch and play the ticket.

Just the way it goes sometimes. Gives me renewed faith in my handicapping...

Thanks Steve and Jamie...appreciate the kind words.

Kevin DO NOT do this to yourself. Absolutely DO NOT.

You could not help that you were unable to get your play down.

This will make you sick if you allow it, so let it go . . . and realize as you said, that it elevates further your confidence in your skill as a handicapper. And for now, that will have to suffice. You should have satisfaction in this.

And you will hit again, its just a matter of time.

I understand your disappointment, please though, take care.

Thanks so much. I'm fine...really.

Being the sick and sadistic S.O.B. that I am....I actually enjoyed watching the replays.

Grits 04-09-2007 06:24 PM

Bud, had I played it, and cashed, I would've driven to western Va. and handed you half of it........its money I would never of had without your help anyway.

Call it a finder's fee. ;)

docicu3 04-10-2007 04:01 AM

Kev give yourself a break

You did a fantastic job cultivating that race sequence. You handed it to people at bargain basement investment.

Your one of the cappers litterally hundreds of players read every week because you are very very valued here and you should take the truth of the respect people have for you here and use it to go forward with your plays with confidence.

Byk/Hooves/GPK/Arl Jim

Free money given away daily from the best ..........

Thanks for your time and the effort you put in to make these labors of love available to us all.

Thoroughbred Fan 04-10-2007 08:54 AM

Kev,

Next time just abandon your post and go play the ticket. If you hit one of these per week, you'd be fine without a job.

Good cappin'. Singling the 7 in the first was the key. Gutsy.

ARyan 04-10-2007 09:57 AM

Amazing! Great job GPK.

I did play a PK4 at Tampa yesterday, but I should have played yours. The 7 beat me in the 9th.

Great job again.

Did you look at Today's at Tampa? I am having a very hard time trying to put together an afforable, and legit ticket. Lots of horses that can take almost every leg.
