There's only 3 or 4 jockeys I trust my money with and don't like the horses they are on (short odds)

looks like another worthless SA derby

randallscott35 04-04-2007 05:58 PM

Give me King of The Roxy for the limit please.

Cajungator26 04-04-2007 07:12 PM

Gotta stick with Liquidity, but I'd like to see Bwana Bull run in the top 3.

Kind of like Sam P. Really like the whole program at Santa Anita for Saturday. I will be there and when the horses come out to the walking ring for the Potrero Grande I will yell out a long SMOKEY............., and then I will bet Gotaghostofachance. Going to be a great day

Yep, next weekend should be better races especially from a wagering point of view. The Illinois Derby should offer some value depending on how many actually start. They draw tomorrow.

sundaysilenceforever 04-04-2007 09:42 PM

I like Level Red here....and Liquidity.

Cajungator26 04-05-2007 09:21 AM

Very nice, Morty. I know that you think Bwana Bull is in the trash, but what are the chances that he comes out of the trash can to finish in the tri?

Mortimer 04-05-2007 09:23 AM

I sense a Biaze.

Once canned.....never tried.

Level Red has been a front-running speed type, faded to third last out. Blinkers on to relax him early looks like a reasonable move. He's bred to run long (Aptitude over Strawberry Road), not chuck it in after 8f, so I can see this possibly working. Don't know about the others.

Great work Ann.

You like his chances ,but have no idea who the other NINE horses are.

Logic like that got Bush in big trouble.

.

Someone asked a question about the blinkers on horses and I responded as far as I could about the one horse which I have been watching for several races. I didn't say necessarily that I liked him, only that this was a strategy that might work.

Mortimer 04-05-2007 01:30 PM

I give up already.

Hickory Hill Hoff 04-05-2007 07:43 PM

Too bad none of the "heavy hitters" made it to the race, would have gotten a nice price on Sam P.
Anything on the bottom horse; #10 Medici Code...was a world beater when they cut him a few races back...

Mortimer 04-06-2007 10:57 AM

Mr. Foxworthy selects Liquidity as the winner here.

In possibly the last race he ever wins.....

...unless he stays in California .
