how are gas prices in ur neck of the woods?

3.31 for supreme here grr

whorstman 04-04-2007 02:23 PM

Supreme? Who the hell gets that? OH, damn, sorry man. BUt, in a lower cost of living place like the Ville', we are sittin on 2.52 for reg. Been worse, but not good.

Grits 04-04-2007 02:27 PM

Don't go to Lexington, it'll be worse. The rise in the price at the pumps coincides, directly, with the running of Keeneland's twice a year race meets.

Sightseek 04-04-2007 02:31 PM

I think I paid $2.82 for regular a few days ago....$33.00 for a fill-up.

Cajungator26 04-04-2007 02:43 PM

It's running $2.79 a gallon for regular unleaded here.

timmgirvan 04-04-2007 03:09 PM

3.37-3.57 for premium /2.87 for the regular in SoCal!

whorstman 04-04-2007 03:26 PM

I was in line today and a guy got $5 on 2. I was thinking, WTF, what is less than 2 gal. going to do for you?

brianwspencer 04-04-2007 03:32 PM

I paid $2.69/gal today. Tank cost me about $34

Well, 2 gallons will get me 50 miles down the road...

It's unfortunate that I need about 51 gallons of gas to get me to where I REALLY want to be right now.

Not really. Gas prices has dropped since last week here in Lexington; last week it was $2.65, now it's $2.57.

Rileyoriley 04-04-2007 04:14 PM

Just paid $2.65 for regular in Western Mass.

Where in Southern Cal is it only $2.87? I need to go there. I'm out here in Beaumont and it's $3.40 for regular. I feel like walking to work or riding a bike.

hope you put some mudd on the licence plate....shame shame..

Danzig 04-04-2007 05:27 PM

2.55 to 2.59 for regular...as for supreme, most cars don't need it...read your owners manual.
also, supposedly newer motor oil is better, you can go 5-8k miles between changes nowadays...

Samarta 04-04-2007 05:41 PM

just put $25 in the car and it gave me half a damn tank.....2.79, 2.89, 2.99 up here.

packerbacker7964 04-04-2007 06:08 PM

$2.65 here in the 616 Holland Michigan. Oil Change will run you dam near $30 bucks at the 10 minute wait spots. WalMart is cheaper but they left the oil plug out of my buddies truck once and I've never went back to them.

i buy gas close to my work because it's about a dime cheaper than where i live.

still...paid $3.19 for 87 on monday.

california is always higher because it's a differnt formulation that the other 49 states. i still want to know where it's 2.87.

3.40 sucks. still, in about a month there is no way you walk or bike anywhere in beaumont.

Ok Kevin...

5 rattles on that post.

timmgirvan 04-04-2007 08:06 PM

It seems that Shell gas is always higher than 76 or Chevron. If you don't buy your gas next to a freeway...then you should be able to get it cheaper! That reminds me that there is a website connected to a TV station that lists the top 25 cheapest in L.A. area...that might help!

This isn't ALWAYS 100% accurate, but it gives you an idea:

i know it's too freaking high tho, it's ridiculous. and all the bs excuses for it aside, it's just because it's the start of travel season.

Byebyemermaid 04-08-2007 03:59 PM

Just got back from Amish country with the kids. Here in NY by us it's $2.89 but we had enough in the tank when we left and filled up in New Jersey for $2.59 and then filled u on the way back before we got back into NY.The good thing is that i use by company vehicle during the week and the minivan is only used on the weekends.

Cajungator26 04-08-2007 08:07 PM

Saw $2.90 here... ugh.
