In what reference?

Scav 03-30-2007 08:33 PM

If you were referred to being up at Trackside for five minutes, yes, I was on tilt today, because of Victor Espinoza and a crappy training job by Mr. Wallace Dollase with their horse in the 4th race. Just downright crappy and it threw me into overload of $40 doubles and $10 pick threes that went no where

Dell, did that guy end up doing the 100 pushups?

hoovesupsideyourhead 03-30-2007 08:33 PM

gpk told me it was a rough day....keep your head up ..lets take a race for sat and take a look and see what we can figure out..as a group...you game..

Scav 03-30-2007 08:38 PM

Nope, no can do...see below

1) pockets are tapped
2) Need a weekend to refocus eyes for HANDICAPPING DRF CONTEST next weekend at trackside, not looking at a PP until Friday of this week (I am watching the Dubai card and the Florida Derby)
3) not up to date on accounting homework thus being tapped is a good thing for this weekend
4) Ask Dell, I might have set the record today for shortest trip to OTB, Bill Downes Sr was like "Your leaving already?" Hoping to sit next to Bill Downes Sr all day on Handicapping Contest Day as I am guessing it will be extremely fun

hoovesupsideyourhead 03-30-2007 08:40 PM

you fineally showed up///billy dell ...and mac..brilliant..:D

Scav 03-30-2007 08:43 PM

I finally introduced myself last weekend or the weekend before. I was sitting with our mutual buddy and he told me he was over there so I met him and Satan's Twin along with BD Sr, who I don't think he has moved from his seat since I was in high school...So yes, I am a real person

i'm not even sure which is which. of the two we met, he's B, right?

Gotta keep him anonymous!

They're both great, one as a drunk partier, the other as a drunk partier.

God, I can't wait to move back to Chicago!

i'm sure we'll all be back next year for millions. I will be, that's for sure :)

Of course, since Chicago seems to be the hotspot (Del, me, B, other drunk guy, Scavs, ArlJim, Mera[if she can manage to drive up there while drinking and posting on her laptop], and any others that I can't remember) -- you should come up there for a weekend later this summer, August or so? I'll have a place by then so you've got a place to crash without horny straight guys to harass you. :D

Thanks for the offer, Brian... I will probably take you up on your offer, seriously. You don't think Jordan will mind, do you?

Yes drunk partier describes all of the guys that hang out in that group,:) I've met most of them a time or two. only met dell there once at partyinthe park.

I think that Hotstufanthensome looks like a HUGE threat in here second off a big layoff and running figures competitive with the "best" in here. Obviously Jambalaya is going to tough back off of the last one. I like to throw Ramazutti out as fast as I can in any race and let him beat me.

My play would be Murch, lightly on top, and underneath in every spot. I think this horse should be a big price on the board and with any improvement off his last could contend to boost the exotics.

I'd say:

1. Murch
2. Hotstufanthensome
3. Jambalaya
4. Revved Up

I'm not being delusional putting him on top thinking he's a real threat on the top stuff, I just am using the Byk strategy of putting a horse like that on top based on the odds he'll offer. Do I think he's the most likely winner? No way. Would he surprise me completely? No.

If he moves forward any from his last, he's a threat in most spots, even if not the top spot.

I wouldn't say definitively that he's good enough to win, but this field with the exception with a very few, is wide open.

You can say that again... I never saw that one coming.

has he ever run a mile and a half though?

He doesn't run longer than 1 3/8 often. And one of his performances that I hold in relatively good esteem was his 6th at Arlington. He got beaten a bit more than two for the whole thing in the American Derby last year (I think that was it?) and that was at 1 3/16.

hoovesupsideyourhead 03-30-2007 09:40 PM

do we have a sheets "voodoo" perspective steve aj andy ..
