Aqueduct <-> 3/30/07 <-> Early DD

Looking at the entries for the 2nd race, it was very clear who the lone speed was. West Points #5 GREG'S LASSY . Unfortunatley, anybody can see this, so wire to wire victory looms large. Mr. Violette doesn't have to worry about Tony Stewart on board his horse today, should have his own way clear of this bunch.

So I can't bet him cold, and make sqwat, so Need to look at value in the DD. 10-1 or better.

Still looking at the 1st. Any thoughts on the 1st. My single is race 2.

Got to watch the Board on DD probs.

POINTGIVEN1985 03-30-2007 08:27 AM

in the first at aqueduct i like the 2-3 and there both solid prices, also in the second i dont think coas horse is a standout, see my plays under friday plays i went 4 deep in the race

R1-
#5 SCUTTLEBUTT
Dominguez considered a Hot Jocky, takes his skills to Jim Mcgreevy on a first time claimer, with a top pedigree, and holds the best final time stats of this pack. In the last 5 starts, worst finish was 4th, 2 back, then came back and won. Did that one 14 days ago take it out of her?

#1A BRAVO'S PRINCESS can break good, and maybe get hooked up early with #4 SPARKSFLY , and let the others in down the lane? Early scratch

#7 WESTERN SWEEP gets Coa, and could make a Coa DD. Carlos Martin and Flying Zee Stables always a threat. Worst finish 2nd.

I believe the 1a Bravo's Princess is Scratched.

Thanks,
This may lead to sole speed on the front end, and may be the beginning of a conveyer belt day of speed and contolled pace.

pmacdaddy 03-30-2007 10:32 AM

Race #1, the #2 Sallymally could be worth including in the DD ,if price is right. Posted her lifetime best Beyer and broke her maiden at this dist second off last layoff. Looks like they stole one for $12.5K off the bench. Maybe she is ready to go?

I am also interested to take a look at Wicked Queen First Time Starter in 2nd. Liked her better at 5-1 last Sunday before she scratched out. Comes back in with Dominguez.

Good Luck

Current prob with #5 DD =$70.00, nice value

4/5 dd= $32.00
5/5 dd= $19.00
7/5 dd= $12.00--No value at all-toss for me.

36 min. to post probs

MisterB 03-30-2007 11:41 AM

DD
2,4,5/5

either a good/semi start, or back to the drawing board later.

whodey17 03-30-2007 11:50 AM

I love race 1 at the big A today. Got to love the Charlestown shipper. I prob could count on one hand the number of races I have seen on TV from CT. But by looking at the numbers and breeding, the horse seems to fit. M/L 3-1 tells me that the horse has a little bit of talent. Top beyer in the field and gets RD in the irons. With all that said, the 7 Western Sweep looks like the one to beat. The horse should improve from her last race from off the layoff.

So my bet is going to be $20 exacta box 5-7

Well that is a way to start the day. The 2 leading jocks battling down the stretch and catching the better part of the ex box.. Doesnt get any better than that.

Nice call....

Whodey and score!:D

whodey17 03-30-2007 12:17 PM

Boy race 2 is a mess. This is the first race in a long time that I do not like at the big A. I dont even like the early pick 4 today at the big a. So I am sitting out race 2.

Good luck Mclem. I will be cheering you on. The 5 looks much the best. But I cant seem to bet this race.

Way to go Mclem. We are off to a fine start so far.

mclem10011 03-30-2007 12:35 PM

Yeah.....

Caught the tri as well.:D

whodey17 03-30-2007 12:40 PM

Hmmm...got to the love the 3 Elusive Warning. A $450k sale and the horse looked great breaking his maiden. Kiaran found a great spot for this horse for his next race. A couple of decent works and the horse should be able to get the job done today. At probable odds of 1/2 I will try to find value in the exacta. I like the 1 and 5 on the bottom. So my wager is going to be $20 exacta wheel 3 with the 1 - 5.

Well dang. Didnt get the 2nd place horse. I thought the 1 would be able to carry his speed to hold for 2nd. But still up $122 so far after two races. But boy that 3 horse looks nice. Look forward to seeing how he progresses.

pmacdaddy 03-30-2007 01:00 PM

Looks too tough to go against. I will try for some value in pk3. 3/2,3,4,6/3,5.

whodey17 03-30-2007 01:20 PM

Race 4 is a nice one for sure. Stunt Man is blinkers off and drops down a little. Comes back from a little freshener and should be the one to catch. I dont think this field has tons of speed and Stunt Man should take the field wire to wire. But he will prob be 3/2 or so. So not how to attack this race. But I think I am going to go with an exacta wheel.

$20 exacta wheel

3-4
3-4-7

$80

MisterB 03-30-2007 01:22 PM

#6 FOOTMAN being a lone closer, maybe a stupid hot pace collapse, and gold strikes.

Win #6

Just like yesterday, fav, fav, fav, fav. Hopefully we will get some prices during the 2nd half of the card. So I guess Coa and RD are now tied.

whodey17 03-30-2007 01:52 PM

I am wagering $20 exacta wheel 1-2 with 1-2-4 at the big A race 5.

MisterB 03-30-2007 01:53 PM

Man what a gift we rec'd. The 4 stumbles (prob the best horse in the field) and that leaves the overlay of the day with the 2 going off at 6-1 I believe. This should get me to my goal of plus $300 at the Big A today. Going into the race 5 I was up $148.

Nice. Profit of $510. Add the $510 to the $148 I was up and we are up $658 on the day at the Big A. When I gamble, I try to win $300 a day and then I quit. So I doubled my goal today so I am going to quit for the day and take my winnings to the bank.
