MTN Tuesday

Well guys, not much to choose from for the DD. I'll go with 2 (speed) and 10 (rider) in the first, with the 9 (trainer change) in the second. 2/10 with 9 DD. Good luck if you're playing, and good luck if you're not.

The Bid 03-13-2007 06:04 PM

The skinny with the late run. Nice one buddy, hope you get the 9 home, should be solid

MinnSkinny 03-13-2007 06:05 PM

Josue smokes 'em late on the 10, a $42 winner to start.;)

ArlJim78 03-13-2007 06:19 PM

That was one of the greatest fields ever assembled. A ten year old horse that was 0 for 61, another making its first start since 2002.

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 06:20 PM

Good luck Minny. However I have rules like Patrick Swayze in "Roadhouse." #1 Take it outside. #2 Never bet 10 yr olds. #3 Never bet 9 year olds.

I'm boxing 2-3-7 Exacta Box.

MinnSkinny 03-13-2007 06:29 PM

Good grief if that wasn't a testimony for this incredible bias I don't know what is. Stay off the rail boys, and make some cash.

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 06:42 PM

Race #3 2 with the 6/5/1 w 6/5/1/8 Go likewise Gents and pick up the money.

IrishofNDMan 03-13-2007 06:47 PM

I'll play a tri in the 3rd race, haven't played da mountain in a little while so I will give it another shot. I will use your 2 horse sitting chilly, but I need more than him on top.

2/8
1/2/8
1/2/5/6/8

saucon17 03-13-2007 06:49 PM

Race 3

GPK 03-13-2007 06:52 PM

GPK pokes his head in the room to check on his boys....

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 07:07 PM

Take what they give you, in that case Dana Whitney at 5-2. Good luck on the pick 3 saucon. On to Race #4 8 with 2/3/6 w 2/3/6/1 8/2/3 exacta box as well. Jesus Barria on a Salt Lake sprinter. Good luck with your wagers.

MinnSkinny 03-13-2007 07:10 PM

Hi Kev. Race 4, dollar tri key 10 / 2-6-9. Dollar box 8-6-2.

saucon17 03-13-2007 07:15 PM

The #7 is a live longshot here.

ArlJim78 03-13-2007 07:17 PM

Check this out, Peter Berry is logged on to DerbyTrail and calling the race at the same time!!

Hey Peter, stop in and say hello to the Mountain faithful!!

saucon17 03-13-2007 07:19 PM

That rail must be death valley nobody wants it. It kind of reminds
me how Suffolk rail was when they ran winter racing

Saucon is live to the 3rd. leg, bring it in.

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 07:25 PM

Hey Peter is it true the rail at MNR is dead? How do you like living in Chester, WV? Have you seen the world's largest tea pot yet which adornes the entrance to Chester?

Peter Berry 03-13-2007 07:32 PM

I did live in Chester for my first 14 months at Mountaineer but moved to Ohio two years ago to be closer to a Buffalo Wild Wings. An added bonus was distancing myself from that ridiculous teapot.

saucon17 03-13-2007 07:35 PM

A little cover my a$$ bet

$1 Tri 10/3,4,6/1,2,3,4,6,9

Hey Peter, thanks for taking the time. You do a great job.

saucon17 03-13-2007 07:45 PM

Oh well leave the chalk out as usual comes to bites you
in the rear. Nice tri with chalk on top. On to the next
pik 3

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 07:49 PM

Peter Berry the best foreign accent race caller in the US. Better than Trevor Denman and that dude at Bay Meadows. Hey Peter, What's the deal with Burnt Mill Road? How many more races can this 13 yr old win?? I'm against. I'm going 3/4/5 Exacta Box.

Peter Berry 03-13-2007 07:57 PM

Start #150 tonight. I'm predicting he's good for another 20, no worries.

Actually I like the other "foreign accent" guys you mentioned as well as Peter. They each have their own style.

In this race, I'm looking for the eight at a price, with OK Hernandez in the iron.
Going win/place.

Peter Berry 03-13-2007 07:58 PM

Just to be mentioned in the same sentence as Denman and Wrona is praise enough.

If he's healthy and happy why not. But thirteen?? That's getting up there.:)

The dude at BM is Michael Wrona. I enjoy Peter's calls a lot. I like when
Peter annouces the top 3 finishers and who they are ridden by after the race
just ends. Another good foreign accent caller is Robert Geller who calls races at Sunland and Emerald Downs.

saucon17 03-13-2007 08:01 PM

Late Pik 3 time

1,7,9/2,8/1,2,9

I like this cat already.....

GPK 03-13-2007 08:04 PM

My boy Scavs called me...he hit a nice $10 pick 3 starting in race 3.

He went 5/all/10/

Paid $68.20 for $1

Good hit Tom.

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 08:04 PM

Hey, a limey is a limey. I still prefer Dave Johnson. "And down the stretch they come...." "It's all Stormello to win the Kentucky Derby, YESSS!!"

GPK 03-13-2007 08:08 PM

MinnSkinny 03-13-2007 08:11 PM

Your telling me T. I have one that is 1/4 mile from my place. I can walk there and stumble home, if need be. Or...I have one right beside work as well.

Life is good at BDubs:D

Peter Berry 03-13-2007 08:18 PM

I'm a regular at B-dubs in Boardman and Austintown and no doubt will hit one in Fort Wayne tomorrow night before the Goo Goo Dolls/Augustana show.

This dude gets better by the post.....

sittingchilly 03-13-2007 08:22 PM

Race #7 9/3/2 Exacta Box. To get a Bertrando horse at 11-1, he's got to hit the board.

GPK 03-13-2007 08:27 PM

Race 7

I like Benji on the 3

saucon17 03-13-2007 08:30 PM

Blinkers on the #2, they might be watching her a$$ all
the way around the track
