we both started threads at the exact same time. I am going to move mine over here.

Well apparently you can not delete a post when it is a thread starter so we will have to live with two Gulf threads.

i made 2 bets today, gulfstream race 4 $60 to win on #5 smart suprise... i know its chalk but i think this horse runs huge on the turf today, and i think the trainer goes to jv today thinking its time to win

also race #4 $10 pick 3 wheel 5/4,5/1 thats a $20 doller ticket with 2 singles that i obviously would have to get lucky to hit, but if it hits i can make some money

I think this would be a good race to be at the track for...get a good look at them in the paddock and chart the action in the exacta pool... In any case good luck with your wager

randallscott35 03-12-2007 12:50 PM

test.

ArlJim78 03-12-2007 12:52 PM

Payson Dave 03-12-2007 12:57 PM

POINTGIVEN1985 03-12-2007 12:59 PM

POINTGIVEN1985 03-12-2007 02:01 PM

maybe, maybe not you never know, it looked to me like he still had alot of horse when he ducked back down to the rail, it seemed like the horse surged again after the trouble

ArlJim78 03-12-2007 02:59 PM

I picked the wrong Monday to give up not playing Gulfstream.

i called that one out earlier today, i said if i win my first bet i'd come back and bet her, i lost my first bet and i still bet her $25wp

ArlJim78 03-12-2007 03:14 PM

tried to cap this race last night and I couldn't confidently eliminate anyone, so I'm staying away. I could make cases for most of them. I would certainly look for a price.

i like mandurah also, nothing big though having a bad day so far, a small win bet is all

gotta be kidding me

Whenever you see a P4 sequence like todays at G, shut it down, period. I simply will not play them with a clm 12.5nw2l. 30/1 8 with no form at all cruises by. The turf was handicappable, the 8th, a shotgun race, didn't use enough bullets, the 9th , another tossup. GL. I'm disgusted with it, after having a nice profitable weekend. 7 of the 12 p4's are 3 0f 4, with 1 at $61K and the others $120K. Which will turn off players more in diddlingwith the race sequences, more $150-400 p4s or more $60-120K payoffs. ???

ArlJim78 03-12-2007 03:50 PM

There's no arguing with that logic.

3 out of 4 for the p4, $974. The question that occured to me after seeing this, WHY NO CARRYOVER FOR THE P4 ??????? At Monmouth and Sam Houston both have carryovers for the p4 with no where near the p4 pool of gulfstream. Now what would get our pulse going more than a p4 carryover with a nice $100-200K pool. Would do the track a world more business than turning off players from playing it by making ridiculous sequences of shotgun races. I dont get it, but there's alot to G that I dont get.
