lava man...
i think he losses this weekend, with a good ride i think ball four has a big shot, and also arson squad, i strongly feel one of those horses will upset him this weekend. the connections dont know what they want to do with lava man, turf, dirt, dubai........i think he might be a bit vunerable in this spot

Here he is tonight on ATRAB talking about Lava Man as well as Great Hunter, Liquidity, Notional, Cobalt Blue and Stevie Wonderboy... And even "Sonic".. http://www.attheracesandbeyond.com/stream/22707c.mp3 |
wow...Ball Four over Lava Man???? Sometimes you just need to sit one out and admire a nice horse and watch him run...but Ball Four needs Florence, KY and slow Grade 3 company

I don't care where or when it happens, I can't wait to see Lava Man kick English Channel's arse... I hope it is in Dubai, but I'd settle for anywhere other than CA.

There's also a great half hour at 4:30 with Steve Rei, founder of the new National Equine Rescue Coalition... |
kasept i was not aware of that when i made this post, the last i herd was a ALL TURF campaign, thanks for the info... but anyway you look at it im not intrested in betting him at 1-5, and i still think one of those 2 horses can beat him
|
I give respect to Lava Man now. He is to me the modern day John Henry because he is as effevtive on the dirt and on the turf. I hope he sweeps the california big races this year like he did last. What a feat that would be!!!!

Honestly, I stopped trying to beat him, in California anyway, after he cost me the Magna 5 last year.. (The Magna 5 where Miesque's Approval won the Sunshine Millions Turf.. at 50-1 or whatever). |
Is wilko going in the Kilroe, or the Derby

The only play that makes less sense than betting against Lava Man in California, is betting on Lava Man anywhere else.
|
I dont know why I had Santa Anita Derby stuck in my head
Wilko is going to win the Big Cap |

I don't think Dollase knows where he's going next, but I'm sure they'd like to find a spot for him to be competitive and it clearly isn't graded stakes races. |

It is the OTHER Tiznow baby you are thinking of that is going to win the derby Cajun! And on the Lava Man subject, Should any of us really doubt LM in California? COME ON! Our job is figure out who to put the exacta with.. |

Ball Four should of won the last race if the jock would of ever asked him to run inside the 1/8 pole:D

you seem to have backed down from that. |
I have no problem with him, but his two biggest post of the week have been crazy!!! Saying Nobiz is the unbeatable horse, and saying that Lava Man will get beat. We all know Nobiz is very beatable as shown today, and we also have learned through time that Lava Man is absolutely dominant in California as shown today.

it may be too much, I wasn't involved in any of the earlier altercations that may have occured or what not. I have been in a few arguments on here with people (most recently with dahoss and pillowpants) but you just have to forget about the difference of opinions and let it go and move on. It does no good to pile on someone and never let off, but I dunno, maybe he deserves it maybe he doesn't, I just won't get into it.
|
It wasn't an altercation, it stemmed from this thread from yesterday.
read it from the beginning if you want a good laugh. I'll back off on "the kid".:) I guess my point was made. http://derbytrail.com/forums/showthr...t=10399&page=2 |
