Santa Anita - Sunday 2/18

Ok, I am over the pain of the very tough pk3 beat yesterday.

Race 1 - Antifreezette has been enfuago, moving up in class today to $20k and picking up 5 lbs and stuck in the 1 hole.....so you know where I am going with this right? This is a set up for a nice score, and any of these could win, except probably court seeker. Would go ALL here.

Race 2 - Not playing Gregs Gold no way no how. Diamond Fury looked super coming back off the shelf last race and should roll here, but will use either Booker or Barber with.

Race 3 - Mess of a race, as many of these came out of the same race where they all crashed into one another so it was difficult to see who was best, and the pp's and speed figs dont tell the story. Poule D'eau was probably much the best, after starting slow and making a BIG middle move only to get bumped twice by the DQ'd winner Silver Swallow. Chocolate Lave was stopped cold on the rail, and was going to be in the top two if it were not for that. Silver Swallow was moving down the lane and should appreciate the 7f here. Might add in the Baffert first timer Silver Agave in case the other three that all ran together just are not that good, as it wasnt necessarly a fast race.

1) ALL
2)3,4
3)1,3,6,7

Good cappin', rootdog.

That's what I get for using two horses with jockey's that probably live in a ****ing hostel and eat dog food.

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 02:39 PM

If speed holds that well in the second, then Diamond is winning by 3....

they are hammering th e 1/3 in the double pool. Looks like Chocolate Lava looks very live in the 7th...

Still shocked Gregs Gold is getting hammered like this, this has to be a prep and 6f isnt even his best distance.

Coach Pants 02-18-2007 03:07 PM

I'd have better odds playing the lotto. The 4 had no chance of winning but that ride by Victor was god damn retarded.

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 03:11 PM

Me POPS says the rail is enhancing.

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 03:18 PM

The #1 Poule D' had a horrible trip last time out with a slow break and Silver Swallow bumped him twice in the lane and still only got beat by Swallow by 3/4 of a length.....cant figure out why the #1 11-1 and the #7 is 2-1

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 03:22 PM

Race 3 $5 exacta box 1-3 (The Orientate Exacta)

probably cause the #7 beat 3 of these horse including the 1 & 3 but go taken down. The #3 @ 9-5 or 2-1 makes me really laugh about how much people HAMMER Gomez!!!

since my PK3/4's are poop sauce let's try this

$2 ex. box 4567
$2 tri 7/456
6/357

Race 3 Pick Three

3: 3
4: 8
5: 1,5,6

$3 per $1, play it 10 times

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 03:28 PM

Go back and watch the race....the 7 took out the 1 in that race and Gomez's horse got stopped on the rail, slammed on the breaks. Seriously, watch the race and no way the 7 was better then those two.

Coach Pants 02-18-2007 03:35 PM

Oh well at least the ******* betting public didn't get their chalk double. I can see all of the drunk jerkoffs upset their 12 double didn't come through.

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 03:37 PM

well he was much the best this time....that was sick 5 wide move on the turn....striking out left and right today....ouch

It looked hard to me last night.Hard to me is a card of winners that are either too easy(and don't look deserving of low odds, but win anyways) to get,or horses that are too hard to get.So far,we got this combo. of winners.
