Zenyatta v. Rail Trip??

If Team Zenyatta is going to insist on staying California for her next race, who wouldn't want to see her take on Rail Trip, who looked real good yesterday, in the Hollywood Gold Cup? If they opt for the (pointless) Vanity, they deserve all the abuse showered their way.

yeah maybe, but whats the difference. rail trip looked good paying 3 bucks while beating the usual scrubs. sangaree, cigar man and that monster of monsters tres borrachos. whats the difference if she beats up on the vanity field or these under qualified grade 2 punks? everytime rail trip gets to a higher level he proves himself , which is not much.

What's the difference? I thought they were bringing Zenyatta back to try something a little different. I'd like to see her in the Stephen Foster, but if they insist on staying at home (for fear of flying over the Rockies), it would really weak to contest the Vanity for a third time. If they do that, their 2010 campaign will have been no different than what they did in 2008.

Say what you will about Rail Trip, but he is the defending champ in the Hollywood Gold Cup and 7-10 lifetime. Having tackled the boys in the BC Classic, don't you think Team Zenyatta should be doing something more than just beating up on fillies? I'm willing to give them the prep for the Apple Blossom against females and the Apple Blossom itself, but isn't enough, enough?

They DESERVE ABUSE? Wow!! It's only May and you've already locked up stupidest f***ing statement of the year. OMG:zz:

Do race calls count?

Not so sharp post!! And you wonder why people suggest that you are not a class act.

I would have thought that, as the Hollywood Park race announcer, you'd relish the opportunity to see such a confrontation.

You'd think that people who apparently covet a Horse of the Year crown would really carefully construct a campaign geared towards earning it. Winning the Apple Blossom and the Vanity is hardly the start to such a campaign and is far too similar to what they've done in years past. Before anyone comes back at me with, "she showed up in the biggest race of the year" remember that a race does not make a campaign and a race does not win HOTY.

If Zenyatta is healthy and standing in her stall during the Hollywood Gold Cup then her connections deserve the same fate they've suffered the last two years.

No. If they did I'd be a perennial winner.

Yeah and you would know about stupidity since you are the runaway leader of "Stupidest" Jockey Agent of the Year.

Really classy reply, too.

You have fewer people fooled in 2010 than you did in 2009.

I'm not trying to fool anyone. I don't care if you think I'm classy or not. I don't have to answer to internet posters.

Of course I would love to have the opportunity to call Zenyatta and Rail Trip. Who wouldn't?

My only opinion is that to say that Zenyatta's team DESERVES ABUSE is a ridiculous joke of a post.

99 of a hundred people would have retired her. Sherriffs and the Moss's brought her back and DESERVE ABUSE for mapping her campaign as they see fit?

Forget this year. That wraps up the decade!!!

Is that only an honorary title or is there any prize money involved?

Which is exactly what you are doing here, of course.

I don't think that you are trying to fool anyone: your ignorance and classlessness is on full display for all to see.

I don't see the psychophants out in force like previously.

As for the horse racing: they can map out anything that they'd like.

I echo what Nick said above, though.

Thanks for listening.

I think a conflict-of-interest is at play here...

I wonder if Mr. Stauffer received a gift from the Mosses last Christmas.

Well to entice you there is a pile of money that was donated by AIDS patients.

Vic, Vic, Vic

Why do you insist on engaging these IDIOTS? Just do what I do: remind them that THEIR horse, RA, FAILED to make the BC and the AB. And, that THEIR horse hasn't exactly distinguished herself this year. They somehow always seem to forget this. When your team doesn't SHOW UP, typically you STFU. Which is precisely what RA's connections have done.

The Zenyatta crew can do whatever they want: they honored their obligations.

It's hard to believe that these simple facts constantly ELUDE the IDIOTS here. I mean, they need to give it a ****in' rest already; this isn't Special Olympics posting.
