Santa Anita - Thurs 3/15
early pk4
1)1,2,5,6 (toughest race in the pk4......) 2)4,7 (like the #4 here alot, good value and should go off 6-1 or better) 3)3,8 4)2,6,8 (miserable field here, looking for someone who can be up front) $48 |
I like the 2 in the first as well. 2nd start, stretching out around two turns. The wraps in the first start and the works bother me a little and I am drawing a blank on the trainer (Rosales). Scuds- what say you about this conditioner?
|
The #2 is by Point Given out of a Dixieland Band Mare.....should like the xtra distance. Trainer is sketch....he has only had 26 starters in the past year and only wins at 8%. This gelding had a poor start and ran on decent enough. The field is weak, and if he improves on the stretch out he will be right there.

Thanks Root. I agree with your analysis.

Scuds- Weather aside, I value what you have to say about trainers. More so when it comes to our west coasters. And yes Root is pretty sharp as well.
