The final tallies are in.. Just a caution that a few of my earlier scores may be incorrect as I was manually subtracting a lot of the scores and my mental maths skills aint that great.

Well Done to Ryonker who does the business thanks the heart of Gloria De Campaeo. If Allybar had gotten up for 2nd, he would have scored a ludicrous payout. It was only about $250 that separated the winner and runner up in the end so commiserations to mclem who looked to have it in the bag..

Lets just say Lads and Lassies it was great fun to run the contest - we'll all be back (please God) next year for edition number 4.. If anyone wants to make any suggestions on how to improve the format or offer up a prize for the winner :), just reply here. I think the format worked well this year having exacta payouts which meant that you could make up quite a lot of ground with a nice score. The double / treble points for the big days makes it a bit like Nascar in that the leader is never too sure that he has won until the fat lady has sang but hey, at least it makes it an entertaining competition..
