if you support her you will suffer the customary beat down and be notified how stupid you really are.

We are just performing a public service.

I also think Serling not being #1 is the reasson why I was snubbed in the Breeders Cup Live Chat, and the reasson Im ignored on DT. He holds a grudge.

You listed 2.5 jews and 2.5 italians in your top 5.

Is that really likely?

Where else was she going to finish? That field behind her was abysmal.

He was a decent horse on his days but really...

shouldnt you compare bc classics to bc classics and triple crowns to triple crowns?

If a horse is being touted as getting racing more positive exposure than any horse in recent memory, why shouldnt you compare ratings? Of course the Derby will have higher ratings but isnt that a valid argument? If one horse is watched by 50 million people and another is watched by 3 million, which provided more exposure? It isnt to compare ratings as much as it is to show the folly of saying that she provided more exposure for racing than any number of recent TC contenders when clearly far more people watched the TC races.

I think we really need to wait until the end of the year and see how much money "Secretariat" makes at the box office. He might mean more to racing than Zenyatta this year and he should probably be HOY 2010.

I think she has earned it, just on the "Mt. Splashmore" factor of her fans if nothing else.

Well it was a much deeper field of dirt horses on a dirt surface. You had a Japanese runner which surely attracted some extra attention from our Asian friends. You didn't have a gate scratch of one of the choices like you did last year. AND you had a bad favorite to wager against. Not to mention it was back in KY where the handle is always higher.

Well, all that and you had a lot of stupid people there to bet that fave.

Oh wait, you said that, just in different words.
