25-17

31-16 = 56-33 Total fouls

Guess what team was called for twice as many fouls as the other in Game 2?

I find it amazing that you can watch tv and ref the games at the same time. Surely the fact that Utah has a frontline that would be considered undersized in the A-10 couldnt be the reason that it looked that way.

Right, and when Gasol is allowed to smack the forearms of Boozer and Millsap and have it be called a "block" it surely has no effect on the game. I'm not sure if you're aware of this development called "slow motion" but it allows us to see exactly what's a foul and what's not, and there were a ton of them "missed" when Utah had the ball.

Guess what team was down double didgets and needed to play aggressively on the defensive end to get back into the game? Jesus I know you guys dont seem to get it but one team committing more fouls than another doesnt mean the refs are working under some NBA mandated bias. It means that one team committed more fouls than the other.

You guys sound like the bipolar guy in the OTB that is convinced that the reason horses are taken down is because the Stewards bet on the 2nd place horse.

LOL

Perhaps you are aware that the refs are still human and dont posess "slomo vision"? If the NBA is so crooked then what is Utah doing in the 2nd rd anyway? Surely the Denver/LA matchup was what they were looking for. Is Adrian Dantley that bad that he couldnt win despite having better players AND having the refs on his side? Wait dont answer that. He might be that bad.

I'm piling on. Do you think the Cavs are gonna win three in a row?

Not if they show up and play like they did last night. People can knock james all they want but he obviously is not playing his normal game. Perhaps he is being a ***** since he has never dealt with a real injury before but he has played most of this series like he was drugged.

At least they made a little run despite playing like shi t. What ATL did tonight was a disgrace. Woodson has obviously lost that team.

Nah.....The second game had the C's never trailing significantly yet PF's are almost 2-1 against the C's despite the fact they obviously played less intensely once they go the big lead. You can't see this as even.

I know he earned the rep, but you think if Rasheed whines out loud so you can hear him in the balcony like LeBron does every time he misses a shot but doesn't get a call that Sheed isn't gonna get T'd each and every time your drinking what Kent gargled yesterday.

The 3 step do see do LaBron did Monday that didn't get called is an embarassment to the game and refs everywhere. If you need an edge like these examples just to keep up with the old men who wouldn't win a game against the Cavs, or are just a small bit better than Chicago or the expansion Miami Heat than how good is Clev really.

WTF just take a walkover and spare us the facade that these games are legit so far. The King still can't win even with the fouls advantage and his clearly superior bench to Boston's sorry lot.

Why don't we just count every Cav win in the series as 2 games and go back to the old 3 for 2 at the line, that should get them over the hump to the Dynasty they are destined for.

Truth is the Celts need game 3 more than Clev. because it's the last with reasonable rest but if the C's do win you will see more spin doctoring out of LaBron's fantasy camp than Willie and the Blue Dress Blues from the Clinton era.

This series is a lot tougher for the cavs than I ever imagined. I wonder what the current series line is.

Lebron is going to get calls. Kobe is going to get calls. Its the NBA

I'll put that one at zero percent. I will be overjoyed if they split the next two in Boston.

There are quite a few Stewards who are degenerates.

There are very few that are sharp enough to manipulate DQ's for profit.

Doc you gotta get more sleep. We were talking about Utah, not Cleveland. As for the fouls it is easy to see why Boston would have more fouls. They score a lot of points on jumpers. Allen, Pierce, Garnett, Wallace, etc are much more likely to shoot jumpers than drive. Cleveland's offense is not built that way.

Comparing Lebron James complaining to Rasheed's is funny. LeBron may bitch at the refs and not get T's but wouldnt threaten to kill the refs or call them MFing crackers as Wallace has famously done throughout his career.

Can't you just enjoy your team playing well?

In 2 years the only action Celtics fans will have at this time of the year is figuring out who the team is going to take with its lottery pick

In 192 minutes played in the 2 series there may have been 3 calls that were star calls for LJ and KB

ateamstupid 05-07-2010 06:32 PM

Yeah, nothing to see here. 14 FTs to 2 already, par for the course. The Cavs should be ashamed to accept this bullshit. And if I ever hear the words "LeBron's elbow" again, someone is getting shot.

Can we at least admit that the dude was faking (or at the very least, vastly dramatizing) the injury? How can anyone argue that at this point?

I shouldn't respond, and I wouldn't except to a Boston fan because coming from a Boston fan it is beyond rich. Paul Pierce. The refs are awesome this series....did you see how they called a ton of fouls on the Cavs in the second half to even up the stats after the game was a 25 point margin?? I give the refs a ton of credit this series. Job well done!
