It's NOT statistics or any other of the common tools. So, let's get that out of the way and not feel the need to mention it again.

I could care less what Rosario's flat bet results are. I have an idea what he can and can't do from watching him. He's NOT a top jock. If I depended on results, then I'd be keying on Jacquie Davis, who certainly has a HIGHER return over the past 200 races than Rosario. These stats are USELESS to me.

This is not true.

Yep. :tro:

More people around here ought to strive to not be such crass buffoons in polite society.

I giggle just thinking about how women need only get fit and look pretty and they're almost a certainty to be wildly overpromoted at almost anything .. well except at the few things where you actually suffer big and can't get by with a bimbo.

I'm sure the St. Louis Rams would love to draft some amusing little bimbo to play defensive tackle with the first pick ... but the sad reality is that Sarah Palin can't stop the run - or even bullrush the QB - like a Ndamukong Suh can.

It is true Phil. I've had top pick winners pay as high as 35/1 and more than a few pay higher than 15/1 .. which is a big reason for the profitable stats.

But the vast majority of the time - I'm picking short prices on top.

Anyway adding in words if you're quoting something changes it, no?

Yeah. You win at the track. Your picks on your little twitter page are hilarious. That is when you post them. And you are one to talk about chalk. When your dartboard is correct and you do hit something it's some ridiculously chalky exacta that you brag about. Leaving your charming personality out of the equation you are truly one of the worst cappers to grace the internet.

But you sure act like a guy who wins at the track:rolleyes:

As if quoting something absolves you of the words?

Is that like a murderer using the defense that he saw it in a movie?

Like when you make fun of farmers with..

"Look at me daddy I'm a farmer!"

You're being mean.

For Baze's sake hopefully Catalano chooses him...will be better off. I would guess some of the better horsemen will be off to NJ this summer making Catalano that much stronger out there. If a guy like Brandon M. can win races out there....anyone with 2 arms, 2 legs, and a head can win.

I didn't realize that Calabrese and Catalano STILL hate eachother. Figured they would have moved past it. Frank Calabrese is a strange guy. Heard some strange stories about that dude when I lived out there.

When he won those meets, didn't he have his bug?

That's the bane of being a public handicapper. I'm just trying to give credit where credit is due. The NY Post guys pick a lot of chalk of course and they don't even match the takeout. The fields at Pid necessitate picking short prices often anyways...

Exactly.

I mean I'm no drama queen. I wasn't mortally offended or anything ridiculous but wow... the wife-beater wearing, woman-hating, late 50s quality of it... the innuendo is offensive.

It's just something I'm glad someone (else) read and did a double take on.

(Oh and frankly my dear I don't give a f**k or a rats ass... I mean you just don't change or add words to a quote).

Coach Pants 03-13-2010 01:17 PM

I would think if you had a sense of humor you would also have the ability to realize that the kind of women that tend to gravitate towards jockeys are the ones who give other women a bad name.

I thought I quoted it correctly but I had to research it afterwards.

We have quoted the movie a million times here, and others, including myself, have used the same quote.

Within the context, the phrase makes sense, you guys don't see it that way, tomato/tomoto

I don't believe so. He had been riding in NJ for a while before he went out there.
