That place is a joke. I had a friend at game 1 and he said he would have rather been at the old County Stadium watching the crew.

Go Phils!

Now that the practice games in that minor league stadium are over … time to start the real contests in the City of Brotherly Love.

And the home team sends that big lefty from Diego to the hill.

Howard has to seriously think about doing a Roger Dorn against lefties.

gales0678 11-01-2009 07:51 PM

a-rod hit again , this is getting to be a joke, mccarver's analysis is laughable , blanton was clearly throwing at him

You know when you're about to tie Willie Wilson for a post season record that it can't be good.

unless it is stolen bases or times freebasing after the games.

Blanton throws like a girl. McCarver = less angry version of billy packer

MaTH716 11-01-2009 08:26 PM

Jesus, Cano isn't even close.

gales0678 11-01-2009 08:38 PM

howard never touched home plate , how is he not out?

MaTH716 11-01-2009 08:39 PM

The worst defensive catcher in history strikes again. He never blocks the damn plate.

They never tagged him. Can't be out if you don't get tagged. Someone in the dugout should have probably picked it up.

MaTH716 11-01-2009 08:53 PM

Home plate ump is doing a number on both pitchers.

MaTH716 11-01-2009 09:12 PM

That was huge for CC and the Yanks. Rollins and Victorino get on to start the inning off and then CC retires Utley, Howard and Werth to get out of it.

MaTH716 11-01-2009 09:53 PM

There goes the cushion.
Damn, that Utley is pretty F'n good.

MaTH716 11-01-2009 10:21 PM

Phills are alive. Joba was looking good but left a fastball up.

the Phils just shifted themselves outta the series! Nice running by Damon!

MaTH716 11-01-2009 10:51 PM

Very entertaining game (I know very easy for me to say). Really have to tip your hat to the Yanks (especially Damon for getting on and Arod for getting him in) for the 2 out rally against Lidge in the 9th. Cause chances are if the Phills get out of it, they probably win it in the bottom of the 9th with the top of the order versus Coke and Hughes.
