He is having a fantastic year. You would think at some point he has to start throwing some ints. Right now he is playing like a top 5 QB and could possibly be the MVP if the season ended today. As a packer fan I still know that the correct decision was made by the pack, because he would not be having that season behind our o-line, but with a great line and a great RB and some young talented WRs he is putting together a remarkable year.

I have no problem with this statement. At least in your scenario, its easier to speculate because we have actually seen favre work in that system with similar talent around him.

At the end of the day, Favre put the Packers in this position. He gave them no choice and they had to do what they had to do. I think ultimately he wanted to see what it was like in another uniform. In two seasons, I think he has seen both ends.

Peterson is no doubt the best player on that team, but Favre is bringing them to the next level. Peterson isn't having that great of a season...at least compared to what he has done the last two years.

AP has more fumbles than farve has interceptions. He is a great RB one of the best in the league, but they could not be winning as much as they do without Favre.

being objective with the schedule they have played , what do you think their record would be with a schuab , rivers , warner , or even a mc nabb or eli manning

if they lose the next 2 games and he plays poorly it doesn't take awy from the season, they are still going to be a 1 or 2 seed - his whole season is now what happens in the playoffs


peterson stinks when he no longer forces defense to play 8 man fronts

better get both lines to play better next week , couldn't run the ball and they just sat back on favre , the defense had no answer for the cardinals , they could not cover either boldin or larry fitz , hightower and wells picked up the bliztes very well .....this loss is not on him at all , but , maybe the vikings as a team just aren 't as good as advertised.....we shall see next week with another divsion leader on tap
