THe Cavs played a good game Saturday. Today will be different I think. Will likely be a close game.

You are responsible for that mess above...MainCourse.

You are wrong...as per usual.

They play the same NBA authorized offense they will win big...maybe even bigger.

horseofcourse 05-12-2008 03:01 PM

Please seek treatment.

I'm done with this. LeBron James in my opinion has helped the Cleveland Cavaliers win basketball games in his years with the team. I think he is a tremendous basketball player.

If that belief makes me crazy so be it. I will stand by it.

I sincerely hope LeBron shoots 3 for 28 tonight and they lose by 1 point so you can live out the rest of your life in glory and continue to have lots of fun at the expense of Main Course and pee garden and whomever else entertains you endlessly.

Your coolness is beyond my limited skill set. I honestly cannot comprehend this stuff. It's freaking NBA basketball. I want the Cavs to win. I want LeBron to have good games. I think he's a good player.

AGain, if that makes me inferior so be it. I acquiesce.

Well that is one sissified response.

If you will recall...you started out some time ago opining how great he was....how he's a one man team...how he has no faults....how the Cavs provide no support and if this dismal team was better they would be champions...

....well look at you now.

Back then,as you know, I told you he was a great athlete...that he drove to the hole better than anyone.....but that his ego gets in the way and he does have weaknesses....and that the team is a lot better than you say it is---the supporting cast.

You just don't seem to see him for what he is although I have tried to point that out many, many times.

I never said I did not want the Cavaliers to win; I said they need to play a team game in order to win it all...and that means James changing....which I don't think he can do over a stretch of time. He thinks too much of himself.

Mainly because witnesses like you and HoseGarden are blind to the act.

Oh get out of my sight-----I'm pretty disgusted with the 2 of you

pgardn 05-12-2008 07:38 PM

So Morton what type of game do we have so far?

(I have returned from work and I am typing dont ya know)

Do we have a bonehead game or schematic?

pgardn 05-12-2008 07:43 PM

I have seen the Cavs score without Lebron touching the ball.
I have seen lebron Score taking it immediately to the hole.

What type of game is it as of this point?

pgardn 05-12-2008 07:47 PM

End of the first quarter.
What type of offensive game for the Cavs?

Oh I bet he is finding a bit of difficulty...

And lets just not talk about defense since it
has nothing to do with the outcome apparently.

Cavs now up by 6. I have seen two offenses.
Call it Morton? Bonehead or schematic?
Better wait to see the outcome of the entire
game so you can call it after its over. Its easier
that way. You call em like you see em, and if you
dont see um, you make em up?

pgardn 05-12-2008 08:08 PM

Cavs up by six.
Lebron has 10 points.
He has driven headlong into the basket.
The Cavs have moved the ball around and
scored.

If the game ended at 5:45 left in the 2nd
What kind of
game? Scematic or bonehead?

Lets forget about the defense.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 08:17 PM

Defense was never forgotten about...we have two good ones going ......and the better offense will win. You are an unconscionable hoser.

We started with an NBA offense...then West went out with a boo-boo......the balance started to go back to the Bonehead offense....who had missed his first 4 shots and 2 foul shots. Of course he had to scream at Sasha for no apparent reason.Sasha didn't like it...just like Gibson and Anderson didn't like it against Wash.

Some day you'll learn....it's right in front of your eyes.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 08:48 PM

Sounds like HoseGarden is a little upset over those failed experiments today.

I think a bunson burner went up in flames as he tried heat treating the steel ball.

Apparently he's no Mind Freak.

:)

No answer.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 09:14 PM

I gave you an answer already for that question.

Did the bunson burner explosion leave a sooty deposit over your eyes?

After 3 ...it's very obviously a standard offense where certain people pass off when running into trouble....instead of ball hogging.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 09:20 PM

Oh..GardenSnake...you can also tell by the box score where a certain ball hog has not taken twice as many shots anyone else on the team..or more.

This would indicate yer vanilla NBA offense is being run.

And..unfortunately for Your Naismithitty...a game does not end before halftime.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 09:49 PM

OkeyDokey,HOC.

You were right on tonight---I was wrong.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 09:56 PM

And James even screamed at his Mommy...the day after Mothers Day.

Outrageous.

pgardn 05-12-2008 10:00 PM

So basically you have no way
of classifying a bonehead offense
v. your schematic offense.

Because there was a mixture of
both. Lebron taking horrible shots.
Lebron driving and dishing 11 assits.
Lebron driving headlong into nothing
land. Lebron driving and dunking over
30 people.

Bottom line Mortonsus:

DEFENSE just like last year.

Thats how the Cavs win in the playoffs.
Curlyhead man was incredible tonight
defensively on almost anyone he covered.
I give him the MVP of the game.
His points at the end
were luck.

WE GOT A TIED SERIES.
Keep up the D CAVS!

Mortimer 05-12-2008 10:08 PM

I have classified it for you 14 different ways,Garden Snake. The easiest way is to watch the first 2 game sand then the last 2.

Much better movement and passing......no James bring the ball into trouble and miss or lose it......no 15 second dribble off and then miss or lose it. I reprinted words of Cleveland writers earlier....did you miss it-----again??

I have also said defense wins...in any sport...many times. The better offense won tonight as both defenses are strong. This showed up very smartly at the end.

Your main problem is you get beat down on the main issue---then run to 15 other issues that weren't an issue until you dreamt them up....and then you get hammered more.

Your only problem is you
have no idea what you are watching.

Try to classify a game to neat categories.
Saying your team cant win, then say they can.
So much drivel and vascillating.

And you have to read the Cleveland papers
and rely on announcers to understand a game?
Next game try without any sound any stats or
any paper.

You would have no idea what is actually taking
place. This game is beyond you.

It is a great game
because it is not football.
It is not some regimented
bonehead v. scheme game.
It is a game that requires
innovation within a theme.
It is a game that requires
constant adjustments within
and between games.
It is a game in which players
have to be smart enough
to ad lib set plays which break down.
It is a game which players and coaches
have to be willing to accept their own
limitations and work with what they
actually have (a very difficult task).
It is a game which you have never
participated in... in any way.

Why did I even type this. Like asking
"blind from birth" what color is in the
absence of light.

Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow
knucklehead.

Mortimer 05-12-2008 11:02 PM

Oh well......we now have our very own Mike Welsch mock up here at NerdyTrail.

I guess it was bound to happen.

Do you stick your finger in a lamp socket before performing in the smart threads as well?

Mortimer 05-13-2008 09:04 AM

Good morning ,SportyFans.

I apologize for brutalizing the dimwit---GardenSnake----but he is kind of self brutalizing.

Too bad it carries over to his lab and more failed experiments....... I understand the physics room is now a crime scene.

How to defend the triangle offense is coming----I just know it.
