All of the winners were odds on though :p
I was talking to the jockey who rode Trees Of Green the other night, lets just say he wasn't too nice about the horse!! EDIT: sorry, one of the winners was 11/8, but even so. Should have won. :p I hope Kirklees wins tomorrow, he really should |
MMSC, just to let you know that Gold Sovereign who won on his debut today is, and i quote "pretty useful". He has been working will with Desert Authority and could make into quite a nice three year old.
By the way, Desert Authority is on his way back and should be back on the track soonish. I really like him. |

If Desert Authority is fit enough, he will take his chance. As i say, he's been working really well again. Flashy Wings would be a danger to any horse though if she was back to somewhere near her best. |

They have bigger plans for Into the Dark and Perfectperformance and Myth Kid, well... I think they'll wait to run him. |

The trip (9furlongs) would be on the short side for Perfectperformance. Mythical Kid has had an injury and has been very disappointing since going to Godolphin (i will say nothing, don't worry). Same can be said for Olympian Oddessy. The fact that Desert Authority only has one entry could mean that he is running here for sure. I will try and find out tomorrow. All i was told today is that he's be running "soon" |

Tell me about into the Dark sometime.... I didn't follow him much but i like him. Myth Kid... point taken. Where's Eastern Boy??? I miss him. If you hear any word on Caradak please let me know as I've moved on to Echo in my emails to Mr. Iffraaj.:D |

Into The Dark...... well, somedays he can run REALLY fast....... TOO fast and then gets tired before half way :D Other days, he can just be very lazy and not want to do anything. So it's the days when he is inbetween those moods that he does well :D I imagine Caradak will be having a break now, but i don't know for sure. |

I'm hearing some really positive things about Bold Glance who runs on Thursday.
C'mon, Make Aussie Rules proud. :) |
The QEII is usually a very good race, i wouldn't like to say who they will send there, but they seem to like having a runner in the race.
I hope Echo would run there really. Bold Glance, i've heard of him. I think i might have even put him in one of my seven star stables. I will ask, if i can. |
Well, i don't think much is expected of Bold Glance tomorrow. He runs in a very weak maiden at Pontefract and Frankie deserts him to ride another Godolphin horse, who himself doesn't look very good (but probably good enough to win this weak race).
Interesting. If they thought he was any good at all, Frankie would be up. |
Astromonia will be retired after this race.
Bringing her back fast... hope she goes out a winner.:) The field and pp's..... I think they'll send Afrashad here and hold off on Council Member.
What do you all think? Wonder if they're still gonna send CM to the Vosburgh with Discreet Kitty. That was the plan..... Suffolk Downs - September 22nd, 2007 - Race 9 James B. He wouldn't be good enough for the BC, anyway. |
as good as Ramonti has been, I cant see him being quick enough for the Mile so Cadarak wouldnt cut much ice, but then again I dont even know if Ramonti is BC nominated..they might have to rely on DCat for some BC silverware.
Remember the good old days when Godolphin had the likes of Fantastic Light and Sakhee to go to war with? |

I know that's what you were hinting at, Brock :D |
well to be honest, they still have a horse in Discreet Cat who could turn out better than both. I think they've done a tremendous job with him as they were very good not to rush him into the Derby Trail and he showed what he could do last year with some magnificent races. He looks like quite a fragile horse and not many other organisations would have given him the time required to fulfill his potential and he would have retired / been injured prematurely. Sure things havent gone spot on this year, but there is certainly plenty of racing left for him and I hope he improves on last years figures and shows what a superstar he is.
Ill try not to comment on the other stuff as its been discussed quite a bit here already.. |
