Great finish lost in the photo too slow out the gates :-(

Scurlogue Champ 05-09-2009 02:12 AM

Too bad for the Cat, I thought he finished well after looking flat in mid-stretch to me.

Good luck tonight at Sunshine Coast, I'll check the results tomorrow when I get up.

Never, ever!

... and cheers to our good Sir Slick (ed) for making it home. Whew.

_ed_ 05-24-2009 04:13 AM

Now he gets to run again next week in O'Shea Stakes next week, then the Stradbroke the week after. :(

Amazing race by Apache Cat though, what a great horse.

my miss storm cat 05-24-2009 10:43 AM

Seriously???

Man I was being sarcastic when i said he'd hit start # 100 in 2 weeks on the other thread.

Even though he's done well again lately what the f*** is wrong with that trainer?

Poor Sir Slick. :(

my miss storm cat 09-22-2009 10:32 PM

Could it - it being the Manikato - be any easier??? :tro:

jaripeo 09-23-2009 11:38 PM

SORRY, A BIRD SINGS THAT NICCONI WILL WIN. MAYBE APACHE CAT GET THE SECOND PLACE :D

my miss storm cat 10-01-2009 12:29 PM

Can someone tell me how he did?

magic_idol 10-01-2009 05:15 PM

I was at the Valley on Friday, in the yard he still looked like he might have needed the run. Asa Magic said, from that wide barrier and was alsways going to find it hard. He came home well, though.

Nicconi was the horse to follow though, Williams butchered him!

Eurell has said today that both Apache and Mic Mac will follow the same paths this spring. They will both run in the Moir stakes on Cox Plate day and then go on to compete in the Patinack farm classic on the final day of Flemington.

THANK YOU both for the video and the news and yeah he did run well. :)

You would have fainted if you were at Moonee Valley on Friday. Both Apache and Silent Witness were in the mounting yard at the same time.

Swooning and fainting at the thought.

Lucky you seeing greatness twice over in person!

Been to Living Legends lately? If so how does Bullish Luck look now?

Give FOO a hug for me. Might and Power too. Tell Bullish Luck I shall come visit someday. :)

Sorry!

Good luck the rest of the night.

Pedigree Ann 10-24-2009 12:15 AM

The Cat got his revenge tonight, winning the G2 Schwepps S. Sneaked right up the rail and nailed him.

NoChanceToDance 10-25-2009 06:40 PM

It was great to be there on Saturday, I've got loads of pictures of him and even got to touch the legend!

Riot 10-25-2009 06:42 PM

How terrific, looking forward to pictures! Fun week in Aussie racing :tro:

magic_idol 12-15-2009 04:23 PM

Fractured a Sesamoid. What a brave run it was, such an honest horse, will miss seeing his white blaze coming down the outside. What a career,
Happy retirement my friend:(

my miss storm cat 12-16-2009 01:19 AM

I just saw the news... very sad.

Our baldy faced assassin... thanks for the spectacular memories. Your brilliance will always be remembered.

A long and happy life to you. Happy retirement.

brockguy 12-16-2009 05:17 PM

hes the type of horse that brings people racing - he will be missed.

Happy Retirement Baldy!! :)
