Are the Atlanta Falcons a SEC team?? That might be too tough for the Brownies.

clyde 10-09-2010 08:20 PM

!!OOOOOOOOOO!!

I can't take us and 3....but you nevah evah know.

And I gudda go.

arizonadave 10-09-2010 09:11 PM

I like ASU +1 vs Washington tonight.Time for this young team to learn how to win.

ASU 24-Washington 14 This should help this young team get on a streak.

clyde 10-10-2010 07:55 AM

..may I say......+1 ?

I think they have a shot despite their inability to cover receivers. Not sure what Delhomme being back means. My guess is it means nothing. I think their two qbs are interchangeable and meaningless. Their only meaning is that both of them are not Brady Derek QuinnAnderson. The Derek Anderson era in Arizona was not a long lasting one.

clyde 10-10-2010 10:48 AM

ROR!..I noticed that...what?...3 games and he falls down ,goes boom.

I guess it's a give and take,,,Wallace;great arm, speedy little guy......Del;can see downfield, but may not reach what he sees.

I'll be happy if they play tough and lose by 3....but not less, nor a win.

Then I'll be angry.

horseofcourse 10-10-2010 02:40 PM

They would have won if Wallace hadn't gotten hurt. Have no clue why they didn't just play McCoy. Obvious Delhomme still can't move, or walk.

I haven't watched it,HC...but it sounds like you just said.

But they battled and the defense palyed very well.

So this is a good sign.

About,what..3 minutes to go?

Have switched to LolliPop song.

Defense did play very well. So did Wallace. Delhomme obvously still hurt. He tried, but just a sitting duck back there. Just average when 100 percent. At 25 percent just can't do it. Hillis obviously not himself either with his leg. He tried too and played well. They could lose 50-0 to the in-breds next week with two hurt qbs.

Yes, Wallace seemed to play very well, too. The team seems to have a definite presence of toughness missing so long.

Know what?

We'll see, but pretty sure I take Cleveland and points for next Sunday.

clyde 10-11-2010 02:40 PM

Wait a minute.

Am hearing Del. now has a low ankle sprain to add to the unhealed high one.

And it is sounding as though Sal Hipetika may well be out. This is not the place for The UnReal McCoy to be starting.

Know what I would do?

And I am not kidding.....I would run our best football player, Josh Cribbs out at qb.

Ah really,really would.

McCoy could come in and run a few series of hand offs, but that's about it.

So,HC...my good friend-----what do you think if it does in fact look like we are 1 and 2less for this game?

With 1 and 2 out...why not?

No.3 is going to get killed by those very bad Steeler men.

clyde 10-11-2010 07:36 PM

HC..trying to keep this thread from sinking...I mean decide on Saturday.

Take ALL the Ohio State you can get gving 6.5.

Noodling with taking Iota and The Fighting Vagini.

So..you think,what?

Vagini interesting team. I pooh-poohed what they did against the Bucks as thought it was simply Pryor being injured and the Bucks pigeon-holed their offense. Only two losses are to undefeated teams...they played Missouri very tough on the road too...10 point lead at halftime in that one. No matter how bad Penn State is and down this year, to go in there and completely beat the crap out of them is pretty impressive. (game not even as close as score). Sparty still a national championship game contender believe it or not (don't play Bucks this year!) but at home could have a let down after huge road win against Michigan, against the vagini. Playing the number 1 team tight then winning for the first time ever in Happy Valley for fun I like them better than Iota this week.

I don't trust Iota on the road even though Michigan exposed last week. In two weeks all in on Iota against Sparty.

clyde 10-12-2010 11:39 AM

Too kind.

Have to go with Iota -3 and The Fighitng Vagini +9.5Can't believe the Vagini get 9.5.

Is it me?

Now let's stop this tomfoolery...

Anyone wondering why Mangini would risk the further disabilty of his number one guy rather than put in UnReal McCoy last Sunday?

Not bright.

Yet now he claims he will feed McCoy to the Steelers.

Ah ain't bah in' it.

I'll bet you see Cribbs Sunday...start.

I'll bet you do.

dagolfer33 10-12-2010 03:09 PM

I would give him a chance. He was, as you know first-hand I'm sure, a real dynamic threat of a QB @ Kent, about a 50% passer, but I would have a whole set of plays just for him.

Delhomme couldn't walk and played ahead of the Colt. they may start McCoy just to say he started but they'll run wildcat 95 percent of the time.

You get a ringy dingy.

SSSSSSSSSSO true.

And he has passed as a pro, too.

Really..this is one tough guy who has looked down the throat of 400 pound fire breathing behemouths coming right at him.

I'm not going through a littany of other reasons, but McCoy...that just isn't right.

Good point, but I see it the other way around as well.

Why do you risk lsoing one of only 2 experienced qb's of SOME ablility for many more weeks?

He got a low ankle sprain to add to the unhealed high sprain---which is probably worse now.Wallace was seen struggling to walk yesterday.

The Steeler game is now off my pick list...needless to say.

Honula...keep that big mouth a yours shut.

I'm agreeing with you. I think it's quite evident neither Wallace nor Delhomme is going to play until at least the bye week is over. Yeah, they risked the health of Delhomme to play against Atlanta so it's pretty obvious they have no confidence in McCoy. I do think he'll start though but we'll get massive doses of Cribbs.

clyde 10-12-2010 04:07 PM

Um...I'm saying they still should have stcuk Colt in their..it's not the Steelers and they now have their only 2 exprienced qb's out for who knows how long.

Even Cribbs..better yet.

Jack D. said soemthing that one could interpret as " This was stupid."

I think it was really, really stupid.

Eric Miles??

clyde 10-14-2010 05:42 PM

Here is a Sporty Bulletin:

Jerome Harrison, holder of the third highest rushing total for one game in NFL history, has been swapped to the Feagles for a ringy-dingy.

Mike Bell.

He must really suck.
