Last horse I remember him winning with was Line of Davis in the AK Derby, but assume there may have been one or two others since then.

In the last 5 years, he is 6-75 with a $1.13 ROI outside of CA. In NY, he is 0-8.

Overall, he's on a 17 race losing streak outside of CA. His last win came in the Arizona Oaks in February 2012.

Arizona Oaks? I had that one. Who won?

OK just kidding... I didn't even know there was an Arizona Oaks, or that someone would even bother to ship in to run in it.

I was at the Oaklawn the day that Line of David won the Arkansas Derby. The whole place was in shock, except for anyone named David who were all cheering like crazy. Unfortunately for me, two of them were at my table.

If it wasn't for the David's at the track, I can't imagine what price that horse would have gone off at.

Suppose at Steve Roman's site and it's at Pedigree Query too typically.

@osbornejamie: This morning we have decided that Toast (of New York) will not be aimed at The Kentucky Derby."

Just read through Haskin's most recent Derby lost and there is a nugget at the bottom that concerns me: Cali Chrome will not have a workout over the Churchill surface as he will ship in on 4/28.

This was the same approach taken with I'll Have Another. That may allay your fears to an extent.

No one should get points for that race, it is a disgrace if anyone in that field takes a spot away from a deserving runner who does not get in.
