Trainer Al Stall, Jr. said today that the Breeders' Cup post position draw could determine the short-term fate of J. B.'s Thunder.

If he gets a good PP then he is a go,if not he is gonna pass. Either way he will be entered for now

That's funny.

Klarman's hedge fund is private so public opinion is meaningless. And if his stable could have half the sucess as his business, he would have multiple contenders in the BC.

Astrology will bypass Juvenile in favor of the Iroquois..

Kasept 10-25-2010 12:10 PM

For those that missed ATR, Delightful Mary had the day's most impressive work to send the Limehouse chestnut into the Juvenile Fillies in good stead. The Mark Casse trainee, the $500k OBS April sales-topping purchase by John Oxley, was second to Juvenile Fillies Turf candidate Wyomia in the Mazarine and will be making her first dirt start after three polytrack turns at Woodbine. While Calvin Borel was scrubbing on her colt workmate Blue Laser to keep up, Delightful Mary was gliding effortlessly under Shawn Bridgmohan through sharp fractions. Minutes after the work, Casse gave the green light for the filly to run November 5, and Bridgmo will get to ride the half sister of Delightful Kiss at what figures to be a bonus mutuel. Blue Laser looks like he will bypass the Juvenile in favor of a Delta Jackpot start.

Has there ever been a 5 horse Breeders Cup Field? They do realize that this is a Grade 1,2 million dollar race?

I know Uncle Mo and others are alot better but come on,this is getting ridiculous I understand about Blue Laser as he got a whooping put on him today but these excuses are getting stupid.

I have heard everything from my horse isn't ready to run against the big names to my horse needs the money to get into the Kentucky Derby. Are u joking? How many horses get injured, worse,or shipped to Dubai between now and April.

Im really excited about the matchup in this race. Also excited to see if Stay Thirsty is any good, and if my opinion on B@T is accurate.

It ain't. . . although I don't agree with the way they've handled him.

NTamm1215 10-25-2010 02:46 PM

There's not going to be 5 horses in the Juvenile. There might not be 12 but I guarantee you there won't be 5.

BaT
Jaycito
JP's Gusto
Uncle Mo
Stay Thirsty

Looks like 5 to me

JB's Thunder-Possible (Depending on PP)
Rogue Romance-Possible (Also entered in Turf)
Riveting Reason-Possible (Shipped there but who knows)

I agree its a nice 5 horses but come on its a Grade 1.

Well maybe Im over the top with it, but I dont see him beating Uncle Moe, and I think Stay Thirsty is going to run huge.

Stay Thirsty won't be competitive.

Uncle Moe and BT seem about equally talented, but I think BT will prefer the distance a bit.

Jaycito will probably be the value, though.

[DRF]

Zito said his horses – including Cool Coal Man, who will run in the Dirt Mile

I disagree with 1.

Disagree with 2.

Agree with 3, but still dont think he is good enough.

Please just tell me one valid reason why you think Stay Thirsty will run huge in this race. Not "just a hunch" or "Todd will have him ready".

Bribon not supplemented to Breeders' Cup Sprint

Trainer Todd Pletcher said he pre-entered 11 horses on Monday for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, to be held Nov. 5-6 at Churchill Downs. However, Bribon was not among them.

Pletcher said that several factors came into play in the decision not to run Bribon in the Breeders’ Cup, including the fact that he is a 7-year-old gelding and a come-from-behind sprinter in what will likely be a large field. “And,” Pletcher said, “$180,000 is a lot of money to put up.”

Not a lot of money to put up for those dudes. I liked him a lot in that spot, but I guess he wasn't doing well.

Is there a place to get nom pp's right now?

hockey2315 10-25-2010 04:43 PM

Not that I know of. Try not to go postal in the day and a half you'll have to wait.
