Nice pause by Vic to spot up the jumper in the Cleve-Orl game.

Great hit, Dean

dean smith 05-22-2009 10:36 PM

I was at a meeting today with a dude that I work with and as we were driving back to our office, he asked what I was going to do this weekend. I told him I'd be hitting Hollywood tonight and we'd see from there. He said, "Let me ask you a question, how much smaller are the horses at Tampa Bay Downs compared to the horses that run in the Kentucky Derby?". I said, "What do you mean". He said, "My Dad told me that the horses at Tampa were a lot smaller than the horses in the big races." I said, "Are you serious?" He said, "Yes, my Dad used to own horses." I said, "Your Dad is completely wrong." We finished the drive in silence.

One of the oddest conversations I have had in a long time.

philcski 05-22-2009 10:56 PM

Interesting ride by Mike Smith...

Not complaining, I'll take the higher odds with the 2.

Also, cool Gate Dancer blinks on the 2.

MaTH716 05-22-2009 11:01 PM

That was a God Damn crawl.
By the way that some ride Mike Smith gave the 4, Whew, just God Awful!

Rootdog1 05-22-2009 11:01 PM

no pace in that race at all...50 for the half

philcski 05-22-2009 11:02 PM

Grace Anatomy sucks. I don't know how much money I've lost on this horse but it's probably approaching 4 figures. I do know I unloaded on her in the BCJF and she sucked there too.

She had no excuses.
Root it got of to a good start but the pick 3 came back Chalky, but it beat tear'em them up.

Suffolk Shippers 05-22-2009 11:04 PM

My late P4 play is

2/1,2,6/1,2,3,4,7/1,9,10

I know it's after race 5, but my 'net has been acting shady. Had to get the bet in on TVG via my Blackberry!

Good luck to everyone else tonight.

That sounds like a scene out of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." I picture Larry in his Prius with Richard Lewis riding shotgun.

"You're calling my father a liar? Well phuck you, Larry! He was a great horseman!"
