Don't don't go all homogenous on us now....sexism is the least of the sins you
listed in your post!

is it? women have lost their jobs due to a bible interpretation that says women can't be 'over' men. women have suffered physically, mentally and emotionally due to sexism. there may not have been lynchings by sexist groups, but what about rape? what about sexist views world wide, where women are treated as property? where women are thrown on their dead husbands funeral pyre along with the rest of his 'possessions'? or women who are forced to endure humiliating surgery? not allowed to drive, stoned to death because they dared speak to a man, or their sleeve moved up and they showed a wrist?

Great post. I don't understand how anyone could brush off the evil in sexism.

but these prejudices aren't limited to certain areas, opr certain people-which is something some either justify, or ignore, or gladly embrace.

Oh stop,please...you're lumping all those actions to OUR culture, which is BS!
This is so beneath where you usually speak!

Put a fuc<ing diaper on....who's brushing it off? you want to say the culture clash between men and women(in America) is the same as the Middle East and Europe and Asia?? Quite a stretch in my book

Hey Horses Ass..my wife and daughters are treated a hell of alot better than the others around me both in Cali and GA. The predjudices you speak of are your projection about me, which have no basis in fact!

i understand that some of that doesn't happen here, but trust me, if anyone knows whether sexism rears its ugly head, i would know. and there are (sadly) plenty right here in THIS country who think women need to be 'put in their place'-and outside the home isn't it.
matter of fact, on that subject...do you know that most insurance companies cover male enhancement drugs as a prescribed medicine, but not birth control pills?

Neither of us deal very often with these types,I think. The problem with the
medication is a financial one, as most women apparently use birth control of some type, and no one ever said the insurance carriers were humanitarian!
I dont think think "trojans" are covered by insurance, either:eek:

This is my favorite, religion makes people accountable for their actions. Tell that to the vatican and the hundreds of priests that HAVE NOT been held accountable for molesting children.

And finally....

You said these things not me. Hard not to make projections based on your words.

The Catholic Church is guilty of those things...I'm with you on that! I said God doesn't smoke..how is that an insight into my thoughts?
The visitor from another country would explain the stilted view stated in his posts, imo! What else ya got? Read slower...you won't miss so much;)

I tend to believe this also.. and based on McCain's convention speech.. he sounded just like the old McCain of 2000. I loved how he called out the repubs in power.

As far as commander in chief goes, just gonna have to agree to disagree with ateam on this. For I think he's just as wrong with his opinion as he thinks I'm wrong with my opinion.
