I didn't say "I remember Ike."

I said "I like Ike."

McCain's not too bad, either. But you Bush voters should be ashamed, deeply ashamed

The thinking man's candidate?

That's so pretentious and partisan it makes me want to punch vegans in the face.

Mortimer 07-30-2008 08:24 AM

I hate Mike.

Coach Pants 07-30-2008 08:30 AM

Mike is thinking about a man's penis.

Mortimer 07-30-2008 08:59 AM

I thought Mike was a thinking mans penis!

Oh..where to start? Obama is the thinking mans candidate??...only if you're drinking his Koolaid!! Your candidate is an empty suit, can't carry a conversation without a teleprompter! He's done nothing for Illinois but 'piggyback' his name onto many Bills to prop up his "cred". He is an eliteist,as is his wife, and has no telling grasp of foreign policy. His plan for revenue and taxes will set America back 80yrs(1929 anyone?)

The Good Lord knows that's always been my motto.

Here's one I'm particularly proud of:

Zebras may be good horseys gone astray...but I can spot a leopard a mile away.

That reminds me of the Zebra who passed away and wanted to know from God if he was white with black stripes or black with white stripes...

Mortimer 08-04-2008 11:47 AM

I'm kidding.

But here's the answer:

God said....

...Man, what is your problem?

That's about the dumbest question I've ever heard.

OK...you were yer basic white, but I stuck ya in a hot climate where the sun shines through venetian blinds.

Happy?

Vegans?

Why would you want to punch them?
I know why I might want to punch them,
but why you?

obama surely isn't the thinking mans candidate. he's more like the "don't think just pile on the bandwagon cause he's a media sensation" candidate. i say he's the Big Brown of politics.

i'm thinking arljim was saying that he's the 'big brown' (racehorse) of politics because everyone is lauding him, the pr wagon is huge, but the horse..er, man just isn't really as good as everyone is making him out to be.

danzig had it exactly right of course.

hi_im_god 08-05-2008 05:04 PM

glad everyone cleared that up for me.

because despite this being "derby trail", i would never have figured out the reference was about a horse. i never heard of big brown before and just assumed jim was a being virulent racist.

in the same spirit i posted the original comment, i now apologize.
