Well, we know they've perfected blowing 1 score 4th quarter leads this year...perfect 3 for 3. Now we get to see if they've developed to the point where they can blow a 2 score 4th quarter lead.

clyde 10-03-2010 02:23 PM

The Good Lord knows they are capable of it.

Let's watch.

Should be fun.

horseofcourse 10-03-2010 02:30 PM

looks like they're gonna try to do it as quickly as possible....ease the pain.

(has there ever been a 300 yard receiving game?? TO could do it today)

clyde 10-03-2010 02:35 PM

They enjoy creating intrigue.

I wish Eddie ( from nat lamp vacays and major league)was here to see this

horseofcourse 10-03-2010 02:38 PM

The team policy of only being allowed to pick up first downs in the first 3 quarters comes into play often in these games.

clyde 10-03-2010 02:52 PM

Ya gotta love Hellen Keller.

clyde 10-03-2010 03:00 PM

No 'f" or "i" trigger words allowed for 2 minutes.

clyde 10-03-2010 03:03 PM

What could possibly happen now?

clyde 10-03-2010 03:03 PM

God is great!!!!

clyde 10-03-2010 03:04 PM

I think we replace StatePenn in the AP top 25.

horseofcourse 10-03-2010 03:07 PM

Oh my God!! I might like this white tailback even though I thought I didn't! I handicapped the game correctly for the first time in my life. My final score prediction was perfect if the game ended after 3.

clyde 10-03-2010 03:11 PM

! :D ! :D !

clyde 10-03-2010 03:12 PM

ahm gonna eat a ruda-bakah...ahm gonna eat a ruda-bakah

clyde 10-03-2010 08:43 PM

Tribe fell short of 70 wins..finish at 69.

What a way to finish--aye?

Anyhoo...got out of the cellar, did not lose 100.

Fine work.

clyde 10-05-2010 03:33 PM

Now all concentration goes on the Browns and Ohio State.

I can't believe I miss the Tribe.

clyde 10-05-2010 04:37 PM

Since there's a break in the "action"...I was surprised I found this on u-tubey.

It's the original recording and this guy lip synchs it to perfection--amazing.Also, some of my fine work comes directly from this recording.Hope you can understand most of it---is highly amusing.

Well, it is baseball postseason. You do get a ton of Tribe southpaw Cy Young winners going. So you know...just game 1 of the ALCS rather than game 1 World Series this year. A hair less painful this year. and the Ryan Hollins/Ramon Sessions era began last night. I'm not sure why ESPAwful wasn't covering their first preseason outing like little girls last night.

And I was feeling so much bettah.

Thaaaaaanks.

horseofcourse 10-06-2010 02:53 PM

The postseason matchups of the Tribe Cy Young southpaws is like watching evolution. Last year game 1 of the World Series, this year game 1 and 4 and 7 of the ALCS and next year they'll just start games 1 and 2 of the World Series and be on the same team again.

clyde 10-06-2010 02:54 PM

Well at least we got quality material for them.

Literally.

clyde 10-07-2010 10:14 PM

HC...supposedly the Yankees will give us 2 and half yards of black crushed velvet for Hafner, if we keep 10.5 million of his contract for the next 2 years.

Ah'd do it.

Poor Travis. He actually isn't a total waste...think his OBP was .370, but for what they pay him he's a four-fifths waste. His body has completely fallen apart coming down from the steroids. He did get the game winning hit in the famed midge game which was the key game for them to take out the Yankees that series, and for that I'll always be thankful!

Yeah, I'd take the velvet.

horseofcourse 10-08-2010 10:27 AM

I heard Hillis hurt his hamstring. Par for the course in Cleveland sporty land.

Good deal, but ah don't know.

.280 or so, 12 hr's, 50ish rbi's....nothing else......gosh that's an expensive anyone can do this.

BEREA, Ohio (AP)—Browns running back Peyton Hillis(notes) has been added to Cleveland’s injury report with an unspecified thigh injury.

Hillis, who has rushed for more than 100 yards the past two weeks, had limited participation in Thursday’s practice. Hillis apparently got hurt following the 30 minutes of practice open to reporters.

Hillis has been the Browns’ top offensive player through four weeks. He rushed for a career-high 144 yards two weeks ago against Baltimore, and followed that up by running for 102 to help Cleveland get its first win this season, 23-20 over Cincinnati.

Hillis was not on the injury report Wednesday.

The Browns acquired Hillis in March in a trade with Denver for quarterback Brady Quinn(notes).

HC..what do you think of taking Michigan State plus 5...and the Fighting Vagini plus 8?

Dahoss 10-08-2010 08:10 PM

The Reds are doing their best impression of the Indians tonight.

I like Michigan State this game. Illinois is possible. This is the worst Penn State team in 6 years. Better get them this year....that freshman qb is going to be a good one. He isn't right now though.

Vagini up 20-13 at halftime. They always screw up, but they'd have to really, really screw up bad to not cover. Good call. Penn State tossed this year to get the qb experience.

clyde 10-09-2010 01:09 PM

So true....evpn reports 27-13 now.

Ohio State surprising me today.

Have yet to face a good defense, though.

The fact that the qb who threw for 500 yards against meat-chicken only has 40 halfway through the 3rd makes me feel better about meat-chicken state today too. AT some point the meat-chicken qb can't rush for 300 yards every game can he??

clyde 10-09-2010 02:59 PM

Very perceptive of you.

I think Indiana had like 530 total yards against the Michigan spread defense.....and 35 points.

They had like 205 total today and most of that against the 2nd and 3rd team defense.

Frankly..ah don't know if any teams remaining on the sched. have what I would call a really good defense.

Iowa is the only potential stumbling block left as I see it. It's on the road. They're always tough. Week before Michigan.

clyde 10-09-2010 04:55 PM

Can't disagree.

Gooooooooooooooooooo Spartypoo-kins!!!!

horseofcourse 10-09-2010 06:29 PM

SEC people just may spasm into hyper spiraling outrage if we get a Buckeye/Blue turf people national championship game!! their world will end.

clyde 10-09-2010 06:33 PM

I'm not going to rub their noses in it,HC.

But I'm very glad you did.

Just very happy for Mr. ROLL TIDE!! ...DT Lied..or something like that.

ror!!..vole 'em and vole 'em!!
