tell me why if Jeb goes he ain't going to win florida , he's is , if things ain't better 4 yrs from now and we ain't moving forward ,gpk will tell you NC and VA will go back to the Republican side. As for Ohio and Indiana - these 2 states will go the way of the economy , he ain't winning those on message , people will have to be working porductivly for him to win there , no redo the numbers and all of a sudden it don't look like a landslide don't forget scuds , this race was a tired old 72 yr man vs a young vibrant 47 yr old , he won't have the luxury of running against a guy that doesn't want the job next time- we shall see |

i ain't kicken him out, all i'm saying is that it ain't an automatic 8 yrs for him, things can get worse , his massive spending may not work ,what if the japs and chinesse stop buying our debt , where do we get the $$$ he sits in a good spot right now , but 4 yrs , a lot can happen reagan and clinton jogged against weak comp GW didn't win by much over a stiff in Kerry GHWB has approval ratings in the mid to high 50's in the winter of '91 - he lost in part to ross perot and the tanking of the economy - clinton was in the right place at the right time don't think for a second that obama is a lock in '12 - far far from it |

The people will simple vote anyone out, including God if the economy is not in order. The cascading effect a bad economy has with crime, jobs, etc... will lead to the conclusion he is too soft on crime, his health care ruined the opportunity for new jobs... anything and everything can be blamed on a bad economy. |
He's would have to lose his health. Gales, he could get shot. I'm surprised some white trash hasn't at least wounded him yet.

i dis-agree , if his policies don't make the cut , he's out |

Huckabee has the right personality for the job. Too Conservative though. If he just starts playing that bass, maybe they'll overlook it. I'll listen to that guy. I ain't gunna listen to Jeb Bush. Just will put me to sleep. |

The war and numerous cases of lack of oversight in so many sectors did it. 2. That is a possibility but it still concludes in no second term. We discussed the economy's role when you were still worried Obama might not win. Bush was a hero after 9/11. He was still good enough to win a next term even with a war going bad because the economy had not tanked. We started the ass kickin before the economy really turned south. |

You had to have those major industrial states go bad. That definitely helped Obama's cause and the change he said would be implemented that no Republican would believe. Now the Rep. are having to eat their words about change. |

I still have yet to hear a definition that everyone agrees on. But it was clearly not the out and out crisis we had before the election. Not even close. |

We were certainly in a recession in 2001. Thats what made them lower the fed funds rate to begin with. |

You watched an MSNBC interview (infomercial) and concluded that he doesnt need a telepromptor (though he uses one more extensively than any president in history, even those stupid ones), that he has "thought far ahead" on the economic issues and "complexities", and that he is generally impressive? And you want to debate serious issues? |

Most people who are "debating issues" get around to discussing the issues, rather than confining themselves to insulting anyone who disagrees with them. So if you just don't know where to begin, you might try to discuss the subject at hand, rather than repeatedly proving Bill Maher is right about Republicans. |
Reggie Bush would have a better shot at the presidency than Jeb. lol

Using Jimmy Carter and Bill Maher to "prove" your points and your rah-rah attitude about all things Obama (He is SO impressive!!!!) while casting stones at the usual GOP punching bags makes you just so intellectually superior to us Conservative people I don't know how we can attempt to debate the issues. I mean Obama is just SO awesome! What a stylish man! What a smart man! What a crock. |

GALES!!! BUSH will NOT be on the ticket in 2012. No way no how. As Chuck and Booth Operator said, Vernon Bush and Reggie Bush... even Busch Light have better chances of being on the ticket. Not gonna happen. |

All the States that are in big economic trouble (barring California)
could easily go to a Republican in 2012 imo. Take Florida, MIchigan, Ohio, a few more to the Republicans and its over. THis is NOT congress calling the shots, this is Obama's baby. Popularity turns on a dime in this country. We have no patience. Right now imo, we dont know which way anything is going. Anyone watch the Frontline, how the Bankers were absolutely bullied by Paulson, Bernake, and then Obama? It may have been necessary, but anyone who saw that could only conclude Obama et al. are very keen on massive government intervention with a big fat arm twisting. I am glad I am alive because we are living in some very interesting times. I bet the media outlets are mad as hell we have a tidal wave of stories all at once. Look at all the events international and domestically that have occurred. Its amazing. |
what about joe the plumber/palin in '12. its a sure winner. are you kidding me they must be trying to lose with people like this
|
sarah palin will not be the nominee in 2012 or in any year
it's not going to happen folks obama is going to leave a mess that only 1 family can clean up , and they have their better part of the entry waiting in the gate ...... Jeb |
Alright, you've sold me, gales0678.
To hell with Condi Rice Jeb Bush – 50 Cent ... 2012 :D |
