For sure, in a clutch spot, the guy has always been a tough out. Deep under all that padn', there's a pretty good athlete, and a big heart.

The system allows instant replay to be used to review boundary home run calls to determine:

fair (home run) or foul
whether the ball actually left the playing field
whether the ball was subject to spectator interference

Because the right field ump (who wasn't in position to make an accurate call) decided there was no interference, they didn't review it.

that Holland for Texas was awesome. That was superior long relief going 4 innings that you never see today.

They're pretty sorry, bro. It can change, but they must get better clutch hitters. If Zambrano, and your other ace (Dempster..Dumpster..whateva) had some clutch hitting, they would of been able to do something like this in 08' or '09. Seems like your centerfielder is decent. Other than that? Don't know if you have any hitters.

Funny you say that, I noticed the whole series (even when the games were close), the Rangers played with this confidence. They were loose and having fun and it showed. The Yanks looked tight and uncomfortable, maybe it's age maybe it's not, but they were outplayed in every facet of the game. The Rangers really should have swept them.

SCUDSBROTHER 10-22-2010 10:47 PM

I think clubs that have to face the really hot starters (in the post) have a difficult time maintaining their confidence. I actually think the Yanks deserve some credit for surviving those two losses (against Lee) last year in the World Series (and still hitting in the other games.) This year, they lost offensive confidence.

So awesome that they were dousing Craig Sager in the locker room. It was hilarious

Please, Please, RHT, give me a Phillies lock to win, I beg of you after Thursday...it's just too cruel to give us more torture especially seeing how I am going.

Either the Giants or the Rangers are gunna do something fantastic for their city. This is outstanding for baseball. Two relatively small market teams really stepn' up. The Giants have had the potential to do this for a while now, but they've (quite honestly) been chokes. Have to say the biggest change I've seen is in Caine. He took forever to get a win against us. Everyone knows he can flat out pitch, but the guy was simply choking in pennant races. Not this September. Not this post.

For all the Philly fans that were singin

"PLEASE SWEET JESUS let the Philly's win tonight"

God had money on the Oklahoma game and turned his cell phone off.

Well, the Giants have had the most # of improbable step ups. So, I don't know how long all those will keep on keeping on. If Caine slips at all. If Ross slips at all. If Uribe slips at all. If Sanchez slips some more. I mean, they have the most critical joints that certainly could fail (and they can't afford to have any of them fail.) The Giants have def. got the better closer, and bridge-relief pitchers. Other than that, the Rangers have the advantage. The status of the Cruz' injury is an important factor. That's a stud that any team would hate to go to war without.

2 things.

The Giants were in a pennant race recently prior to this season?
SF and Dallas are small markets?
