If she ran in the Woodward after this that would be more in line with Jess Jackson's prior style of campaigning, so hopefully you end up being correct.

hopefully she wins her next race with a solid time and performance & then I would truely think that Jess would put her back on track.

Yep that Historic Mother Goose last year was a real humdinger.

No it is about selling out for an extra 5000 people, most of whom wont bet more than token $2 win tickwets on RA at 1-5. That and telling some idiot pol from Hoboken that the horse of the Year (last year) raced there, can we have more money???

In three years no one will even remember the race except some other enterprising owners that will hold the sport for ransom.

hopefully she loses to a Jersey bred and little Jess will be forced to run in bigger races or take his ball and go home.

This BS is a laugher. What's she been doing the rest of the year. Wasn't the Fleur De Lis enough of a "launchpad"?

The saga of RA gets more hilarious with each passing day.............

No way Jess sends her in the Woodward assuming QR is running. I don't think they want the 10F of the Personal Ensign either. My bet is she goes back to MTH for the Molly Pitcher and doesn't run Saratoga at all. MTH will bend over again and boost the purse, or throw a parade, or whatever Jess wants.

Unlikely, as I'm sure you know.

The Unrivaled Belle race was a few lengths faster than Arson Squad's win in the Alysheba ... and her easy win last time was clearly faster than Blame's win in the Foster.

The funny part ... is that if he choose to run her against males .. which he might have if Zardana never was cranked up like only Shirreffs can and sent to FG ... Jackass Jess wouldn't have such a deflated grape sack right now.

hey, if he gets 17 starts in by june 2012, he's good to go.

If the people governing this sport subscribe to this thinking then top level racing is truly doomed.

Ah the irony of Jackson putting all his eggs in the BC basket after doing the exact opposite last year

What would make you think she isnt 100%?

What are you talking about? Did you not see her last race?

Pretty much about the same length of time that top class racing has been on a precipitous decline in this country.

Rachel Alexandra is a 4yo filly. She's coming off a Grade 2 victory. What is wrong with the races already in existence like the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap or the Grade 1 Ruffian?

If the "real" Rachel Alexandra ran in either of those, she'd win by a pole. As it stands, even if she's not at her best, she'd be a major contender in either race baced on her 2010 form.

Believe it or not, racehorses can have more than one goal.
