Maybe Street Sense has a bad case of hubris. He thinks he has the race won, stops being competitive and lollygags to the finish line. I think it's seasoning is all. He was born in February, was hoping he would be more mature, but I guess some bad habits take more than 9 tries to break.

Aren't there suggestions as to the sharpness of the turns being quite different?

I think the suggestions about Pimlico being significantly different than Churchill are pretty incorrect. But, I am not one to get too caught up in horses preferring one track to another, for better or worse. Belmont, however, is a very different track than most, but that's pretty obvious. However, what makes it different also makes it fairer.

The funny thing about Belmont is that while many tracks seem to get souped up for big days Belmont sometimes seems to get a dead rail....like BC day in 2001. Of course, in the old days, Belmont's rail was almost always dead.
