Dont forget to add that you have to see something in order to have an opinion. So you hate free speech and could care less about other's opinions and you feel blind people should not have an opinion since they cannot see.

Calling someone fat isnt racist. It is being insensitive to those with weight problems.

Do you get any handicapping opinions from blind people? Do you know any stewards who are blind? Aside from those in NY??

They should be like the NFL replay. Have the head Judge run to the replay booth, while we watch the replay on the Big screen, and everytime the infraction replays, we go ewh,ah.ewh ah, until the Judge comes out and says's, After the review of the reply, the call stands. 1st and 10. Play ball.

Every single post in this thread after post 88, and forward, until this morning with post 134 should be deleted. Two entire pages of nothingness added, that was useless exchange to what was an excellent thread. Brought about by a poster that was simply throwing chum to the fish. Absolute foolishness.

But now, one has 7+ pages to scroll through instead of 5.

What the TRPB (Thoroughbred Racing Protective Burue) do in this cases?.
It saids in their mission: "The TRPB also pursues nationwide participation in conferences, seminars, workshops, and other assemblies considering programs related to integrity, security, safety, enforcement, and ethics in racing."
Sombody send them the tape.

Then again, you can have a Giant Chieftan situation where they DQ themself! :p

Every time I see Kon Krete Kid run back I think of that race.

My 2 cents which aren't even worth that much: Coa deserved 8-10 days, Martin no more than half that if any at all.

Bethany nailed it when she said you cannot put the horses and other riders at risk to "settle the score".

This may awfully simplistic, but if visual evidence is required... yes, of course.

If I turned on the radio and asked a man who was deaf what song was playing, would he know?

A lot of the problem stems from the stewards likely feeling they needed to justify their decision not to make a DQ in the race. They made a poor "non-decision" there and felt compelled to justify it with their "equal fault" issuing of suspensions.

More and more, it seems, stewards are making their decisions based on the "did it or did it not alter the race outcome" concept. To be sure, subjectivity is part of their job, but it's gotten out of hand, imo.

I rarely see any DQ's any more for incidents other than those that occur in the homestretch which is wrong. To a great extent, a foul is a foul, wherever it occurs during a race. By not punishing riders for these fouls, the stewards only encourage this kind of bad race-riding tactics.
