I think the last straw was watching Paul Ryan and Nancy Pelosi walk arm and arm down the aisle heaping another trillion on our backs and accomplishing nothing with it.

The false left-right paradigm is finally exposed.

too bad tho we don't see it in congress, with people like mcconnell and schumer staying in office for ever.

Eh, Schumer's only been there since 1998 (I remember him thrashing D'Amato, and rethought dirty politics, because I swear, the only reason he beat him is that he was willing to get right in the gutter with Big Al.). That's nothing for the Senate. McConnell's been in since 1984, which is only slightly longer than Scalia served on the Supreme Court. And neither of them make the top 20, historically.

I think Patrick Leahy is the longest serving who is still there.

There's pros and cons to long-serving members of Congress. The thing is, we do have term limits. It's just that they're called elections and it's hard to get people to show up if the big job isn't also on the line.

Oh yeah, for sure. But I need Bernie to do better. He is my 2nd option.

just saw this:

http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/25/news...ss-fraud-case/

The case was initially filed nearly six years ago in federal court in Southern California. It is one of three suits that Trump University faces, including one by the New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who accused the school of being a "bait-and-switch scheme."

^^^^^^^^^Yeah, sure he does...

http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/26/pf/t...dit/index.html

So i was reading an article elsewhere, and someone had made a comment that trump has been audited for 12 years, so i googled.

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/ar...irs-agent-says

Olsen said that Trump’s revelation about 12 years of audits is something of a bombshell itself. “If the IRS examines your tax return and finds no issues they will not audit your return again for two years,” he said. “If returns are properly prepared, the IRS typically goes away.”

I worked with a guy that got audited every year - so what he did was hold something back in his favor for when he had to redo his taxes. It was his way of saying FU. I worked with him for 10 years and every year he was audited...go figure

Based on remarks in this article, on his reported gains vs the actual losses....no wonder he is being audited.

Really shows how much Americans hates politicians when they back a sociopath completely lacking a moral compass or a shred of business ethics. We are saying we will take this guy over you.

His one supposed plus 8s that he is a businessman. He claims he has the ability to negotiate...his acrewing people is not negotiation. The more i find out about him, the more sickening he is.

Trump says he will make america great? He is one of the azzhats that has put it in its current shape.

But thanks.

Kept mentioning duke, did not repudiate the klan. Wants that white supremacist vote i guess.
