Sometimes you come across a card that is tough to handicap but you can't help to smile and enjoy it. Today's card was one of them for me.

I like Regally Ready to upset the Kilroe today. He looks to be in a little deep (this is a tough one!!) but his form is on an upward tick and has found new life at the mile distance.

I think I may bet him, there are legit horses here but he is going to be much closer to 10/1 and will be alone on the lead.

Unfortunately, many of us missed it due to an odd issue affecting the stream of multiple tracks. :zz:

Fractions were solid too

No surprise, it's been a total freeway at Santa Anita today on the dirt.
Bad news for Will Take Charge.

Looked huge but the all the horses ran in same order from start to finish. No one closed a single bit on that fast pace.

It was the three best horses, in fact its been formful.

Lots of stalkers coming up in the san carlos.

I bet Big Macker so hope everyone is right about this so called bias.

Slow fractions, dumb jockeys let that horse go.

helicopter11 03-08-2014 06:30 PM

What bias?

He ran huge again, so did Game On Dude. Hopefully these horses all stay healthy, could be a great year.

He tends to throw in some clunkers. I know some ppl blame the wet tracks, but he throws some bad ones every so often. Remember, going into the Whitney last year many people thought he was all done. And that day he ran big at like 7-1.

Slow fractions? Are you talking about Game on Dude?

Agree. No huge bias. Race 1 and 7 were won from well of the pace.

Race one winner was never farther than 3.5 lengths back while contesting a 21.68, 44.38 pace. Race 7 was a freak show and possibly the best ride by a jockey this year. They certainly made the track fast as they always do for Game On Dude. Home Cooking just like they tried to get away with Breeders Cup until Owners and Trainers pitched a fit after the first day. One good thing that came out of it is California Chrome will be grossly over bet on Derby day. Also I was just looking at the selections thread. Nice Score there Rock.

I'd be careful about dismissing California Chrome. Yesterday was his 3rd straight big effort.

10 pnt move up 03-09-2014 11:44 AM

Track was no doubt speed but much closer to the way its been all meet, they did not do anything yesterday. All the best horses were winning, how is that some kind of bias. If anything it may have been inside more than anything.
