Apparently Alan Garcia has zero clue as to how the track is playing or how his horse runs. Instead of being right behind the speed like he should have been, he puts the horse 20 lengths back. Incredible. :wf

He has been one of my favs. I know he had his glaring issues (distance, quitter), but I was always attracted to him nonetheless. He did look very uncomfortable in the post parade; was flat as hell coming out of the gate.

I was disappointed as well, but it seemed as the #4 was really "lathered up" going into the gate.
