I should have been done with her long ago, specifically when she praised the anti-Semite Carter for having deep understanding of all things mid-east but like a bad car crash I was guilty of rubber necking the mess and carnage left behind.

This is indeed awesome: now I can make funny faces at you behind your back, and you can't see :D

LOL - It is funny when their very next post, surprisingly, addresses what I just wrote about ....

Dell-free is nice, however. I'm enjoying that greatly. I hope that others come out of lurk now into politics forum.

If a there is a dog turd on the sidewalk in your path, do you step on the turd or walk around it? Putting Righteous on ignore is walking around the turd.

I think I'm on record as saying you walk on by, ignoring it. Sadly it took me time to adhere to my own advice.

BTW I’ve met her in person long before that, back in the Sumwon days and should have started ignoring her then!

When "Neighborhood Watch" Gets Out of Hand

Some "inconvenient truths" are starting to surface regarding the fact that the funeral director reported no evidence that Trayvon was in a fight (shouldn't the forensics people have a record of that?), and there is a police video of Zimmerman showing no visible wounds or blood on him after the alleged fight (again, didn't the Sanford PD examine and/or photograph him?).

This is starting to look like a cover up, and I'm thinking the original State Attorney is going to get taken down on this.

Robert Zimmerman, George Zimmerman's father, is a retired Orange County judge; probably part of the "good ol' boy" network that's all too prevalent here.

Actually, Zimmerman's father turns out is a magistrate, not a judge - less powerful.

It's not looking good for a police department with a history of racial abuse. The current chief was brought in to fix their previous problems. It's been said in the news it's still a Klan town.

I wish an arrest would be made, as then a judge can put a gag order on this entire public dog and pony show. But alot of that is Zimmerman's side quite willing to get venue changed, I'd guess. All the leaks from the police ....

Bob Cesca wrote a good column today about the right wing bullying scream machine going after a murdered black child, but the left is rabid, too. Yet the only way this case got attention is because the principles went national with their claim of police ignoring the murder of this kid, contacted their congresswoman, who requested and got the feds involved via hate crime investigation.

Who saw this coming..

Profit-seekers gorge on teen's case.

perhaps everyone should stop quoting to protect the innocent??

I guess the 13-year-old witness didn't ask to remain anonymous, unlike Martin's girlfriend. The 13-year-old must want to be a celebrity.

In Defense of George Zimmerman?

Ever since the media latched on to the Trayvon Martin killing (view our collection of Trayvon Martin cartoons here), they seem to be certain of one thing – George Zimmerman, the neighbor watch man who shot the Florida teenager, is guilty of murder.

Most cartoonists have focused on the tragedy of Trayvon’s death, but Michael McParlane went a different direction and focused on the media’s newfound role and judge, jury and exuctioner:

I asked Michael his thoughts, and here’s what he emailed me:

Debates are rampant over whether or not the same backlash would be exhibited if this were a black on black murder. Large groups of people can effect dramatic change, but where are the current protestors, and carpetbaggers, when the crime is not deemed “racist”?

pointman 03-30-2012 01:02 PM

You mean there is even a possibility that Zimmerman acted in self defense? I thought he should be arrested and booked and charged with manslaughter by this incompetent police department that dismisses witnesses? Isn't there a history of racial abuse by this police department? What about his father's connections? He was a magistrate so the fact that he wasn't arrested must be a conspiracy, right? Please don't tell me that the media, Sharpton and Jackson may have been giving out inaccurate information?

the one thing that everyone is certain of, including the police.. because its right there on the 911 call, is that Zimmerman was following Martin.. pretty much stalking the kid for no reason.

If anyone had a reason to "stand your ground" it would be Martin.

Not one person on this site could tell me that if they were belong followed, very strangely.. by a stranger.. that they wouldnt react with one of the two basic instincts; flight or fight. So after Martin kept walking and was still being stalked... who on earth could get mad at the kid for possibly turning around and defending himself?

there is something VERY shady about this Zimmerman guy. he's already shown a violent temper with past arrests. dude has called the cops.. what, 49 times or something? he sounds like someone I'd never want to meet and certainly someone I wouldnt want stalking me on the streets.
