It certainly was..and I am no puckey fan nor did I see it.

But boy do I have to whizz.

It was a great game last night, and except for the second round in the East the hockey has been terrific throughout the playoffs. Unfortunately I think Tampa might have been a better match up against Vancouver. Don't see Boston getting more than one game..I hope I'm wrong and it's a long series.

Gotta agree with you on both accounts. Usually I'm against the B's (Wings fan) but now I have to root for them as an original six team. The hockey has been soooooooo much more exciting than the NBA for sure.

Good luck, but even if Luongo reverts to his former playoff form of not being able to stop anything smaller than a city bus, I think the Canucks have too many horses and waaaaay too much team speed for the B's to deal with.

As much as I love the Saux and Tarheels, the Bs have always been my #1. My first hockey memories date back to the '72 Cup. It time for the 39 year drought to end. Bruins in 6!!!

Huge missed opportunity to steal Game 1 last night. And to give up the winning goal in the last 30 seconds.....:(

I thought that the Canucks were offsides.

A tremendous game from the opening face off. The Bruins might rue that they let that game get away. I hope they make it a long series..I'm not ready to start watching baseball just yet. As an Islander fan, I wish Pierre Maguire or someone else would congratulate Mike Milbury on trading away the first two stars of game one for essentially a used puck bag in seperate trades. His crowning achievement in hockey remains beating a Ranger fan with his own shoe.:zz:

It really is comical how bad a GM he was. Amazing that he got a job on network TV as an analyst. Kind of like Steve Phillips when he was on ESPN.

(To forestall any question from Golfer, yes, I watched the whole game.)

That makes ONE of us.

I'm not sure comical is where I would go...too bad Chara couldn't get 3rd star because that trade really was the cherry on the crap sundae...Chara for essentially Alexi Yashin.:wf

To the rest of the league I'm sure it's comical. I was sure that Milbury had a picture of Charles Wang naked with livestock because that was the only explanation for how he was able to keep his job for that long.

Burrows taking a bite out of Bergeron was a nice side story.

No suspension. NHL says there wasnt conclusive evidence. :zz:

pgiaco 06-05-2011 08:50 AM

Another terrific game. Didn't have the pace of game 1, but didn't lack for chances or drama. I'll bet Bruin fans are none to happy that Burrowes ends up the star of the game.
