That's ok. I have a crush on his new man child, Josephina. I think we can swing a 4 way in Erie. Buffet dinners on Sal! |

I was thrilled to read about the unretirement. Great news for racing. And I really liked reading "We are in the business to have fun" from Jerry Moss. At least one rich owner understands he's got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with a special horse, and doesn't choose to shut his horse down in its prime. That said, I'll still give 2-1 that there will never be a matchup between RA and Zenyatta. Too many things can go wrong. --Dunbar |

Useless trivia fact for the day- assuming that Summer Bird comes back next year, this will be the first time since 1997 that the winners of all three Triple Crown races and the BCC winner will race the following season.
Years of winners who raced the following year: 1997: Skip Away, Silver Charm, Touch Gold 1990: Unbridled, Summer Squall, Go and Go 1989: Sunday Silence, Easy Goer (the only year 2 horses won all 4 races- and they ran 1-2 in all 4 of them. What a duo. :) ) 1987: Ferdinand, Alysheba, Bet Twice |
it would be interesting to see if they run Zenyatta in the Zenyatta Handicap
|
charles cella has offered big money in the past to draw big horses-such as the year both gentleman and skip away were running. would love to see these two clash at oaklawn.
