Bush Bush Bush Bush Bush. Bush left " H " 350 BILLION in TARP $$ . Before he could figure how to wisely spend it, he put our grandchildren a few TRILLION $$ in debt to the Chinese , and others, with the stimulus, omnibus, and general spending bills, and the healthcare bill that is coming with no opposition by a spineless congress that is sure to bankrupt this country. Remember when the taxpayers were going to make $$ on this deal? Go find H's website to track the stimulus $$. I've been looking...can't find it. Taxation without representation lives and breathes in the 21st century and beyond. Explain this bull to your kids when they get old enough. "We only wanted some change".

My liberty was purchased at the end of a smoking barrel and paid for in blood. I'm not giving it away to any Govt. We are the problem and the solution, vote every one of these "A-Rods" out next election. It doesn't have to come to Anarchy but I'm afraid it will.

No ya see tha thing is your party does not see
his group as nuts. That is the problem.
Hatred and intolerance are
dangerous stuff. The Unions merely try to get
their unfair share.

Its a frggn albatross around the Republican's neck.

If these so-called social conservatives could be
tossed, the party could get down to the real
credo... fiscal responsibility. This is the attraction
of the party to the middle ground. But the party
just does not get it.

The Republocrats and the Demlicans aren't really speaking for anybody anymore are they. Maybe their own special interests but not Americans.

I tried "is" on my ex , that's why she's my ex. Too bad America "isn't" that smart.

SOREHOOF 06-12-2009 12:00 AM

The time for "blame" is over. If you don't realize what's going on, and take steps to stop it, your grandchildren won't even ask, having never known freedom. They will blindly pick up the tab. They won't blame Obama or Bush, they will blame us.

Fly Air Force I over NYC for a re-take?

dalakhani 06-12-2009 12:22 AM

I would love to know. When Bush was in office, i knew exactly what i would have done differently on some major policies.

I hear a lot of anti-obama rhetoric. I would love to hear what Sorhoof would do differently. You can answer too dellinger. Do you think it would make a worthy topic?

OK my first move would to make Patrick Fitzgerald Atty Gen and start an investigation of Fannie May (easy subpoena delivery) and any other bank, finance comp, hedge fund etc etc who gave a home loan basically on a signature. Then the banks that bought the paper. Then AIG for insuring said loans. Recoup all money made in commisions, salary, interests, etc. Since property values have fallen those who qualify can refianance at a percentage of what they originally signed for. ie a couple who purchased a home for $240K and paying 2000 a month mortgage can now pay 1500 a month for the same home that's worth 180K now. Of course there would be a huge punch list but that's the 1rst 5 mins We'd break and the country would do calisthenics for 25 mins as my health care initiative. 3 hrs later I make my 2nd move and we repeat calisthenics. What a dream!

other than the jumping jacks I am serious. There was some HUGE money made in the last 4-5 years on 'shorting the housing market' and I'd like to collect some already printed money rather than opening another monopoly game hoping no one is looking If you're not from CHI you probably aren't familiar with P. Fitzgerald but he's taken down the Chi Mob, a Governor, indicted another Gov and most of his friends and in between put Scooter Libby away while visiting Wash. Prior to him a bailiff or 2 would get indicted.

Then I'd go into damage control w/our allies.
