I agree with what you are saying, but this is a little different, after the opening weekend, I'll know 90% of this board......

Where in the fck did I say you cant afford 100 dollars? Where?

All that needs to be done is to PM me. And explain what I READ FOR MYSELF. People need to be very careful. Some people find it very easy...

PHIL. Tell what the timeframe on not following through on an agreement is? PM me please. You dont know how bad I am hoping things have been set right. It would give me a little more faith in people.

I would love for all of you guys to get this done. And have a great time doing it. I would love it even more if you actually won. Careful.

You get in the Tom Foolery thread and say that!

The Bid 07-02-2007 10:43 PM

Dont put up money if you cant pay. Just keep your mouth shut if you cant come through. Everyone on this board should pressure you to DO WHAT IS RIGHT.

The bet was 100 dollars, you question my ability to pay a hundred dollar bet? You have any idea how much I got grabbed for on here? You have any idea my background, or what I do, or my assets, or worth? Do you have any idea if the bet was paid, do you have any idea of any of that?

This isnt your bet, debt, or otherwise, I suggest you mind your own business. Youve already proven to be a fool

WTF are you talking about? I dont care what your background is. I dont care if you are destitute or a millionare. Tell me you are honest. All you have to do is EXPLAIN what you posted, WHAT I FRIKKN READ. ANd what I read was it that you would get around to fullfilling your obligation. That you would get to it. Like it was unimportant. That you just forgot. Lets get this straight:

IT AINT ABOUT MONEY. ITS BASIC HONESTY. THATS ALL IT IS TO ME.

You go off on this ability to pay thing... I dont care. Just follow thru on obligations. If you have done so, fine. Update me. Because I know what I read.

I like the shares idea. That is always the best way to go. However, if the max shares a person (other than a leader) can own is 5 shares at $50 bucks a share, then who decides how many shares we are going to spend on a particular pick 6? If there is a total of 200 shares or $10,000.00 then do we wager 75 shares on this pick 6 today or 100 shares or what?

This could work with a little bit of work and a little bit of trust and some good nature honesty. Good thing about this is that sometimes I dont have time or the desire to play ever single large carryover. I think it would be very cool win or lose. $200 a year is not that big of a deal in comparison to how much I spend on pick 6 carryovers throughout the year.

The Bid 07-02-2007 11:02 PM

I dont owe you an explanation on anything. Last time I checked you had nothing to do with the bet, how the bet was paid, when the bet was paid, or anything else that involved the bet. Why dont you just mind your own business and not worry about the particulars. If Booey wants to clue you in on it, he can do that.

Youre out of line, off base, and really a buffoon for questioning me on anything. Whether I paid it, have the money to pay it, or welched it is none of your business.

It was Scavenger what told Mr. Garden on you.

I wouldn't put up with bull phooey like that from him.

Get serious and give him a taste of the long knuckle!

They straighten right up after that very first application.

THEN DONT FLIPPIN POST ON A BOARD ABOUT YOU WILL GET AROUND TO IT... JUST TAKE CARE OF IT. YOU MADE IT PUBLIC. DO YOU GET THAT. YOU MADE YOUR OBLIGATION AND LACK OF FOLLOW UP PUBLIC.

and this just pisses me off because good things can happen on boards like this when people trust others because honesty is the rule. this kind of pik 6 stuff might actually work if there is some trust. Dont ruin it.

The Bid 07-02-2007 11:19 PM

**** yourself. Dont tell me how to handle my business. What I say to someone else doesnt concern you. You had nothing to do with it, and still dont. I cant waste anymore time on you, youre a buffoon.

Mortimer 07-02-2007 11:28 PM

Oh I think we all know Mr. Dillinger is no longer with us.

But the funny thing is I ran into him at the CheapWhiskeyDancer Bar here about 4 years ago....sat down right next to me.

He did.

So I says....."Hey....aren't you John Dillinger?"

He replied that he was,but asked I didn't tell anyone.

I apologized for bugging him and promised I would not.

Not tell anyone that is...I already had promised not to bug him anymore.

But after a while my intellectual curiousity got the best of me.

It did.

I leaned over and said..." Pardon me Mr. Dillinger......but aren't you dead?"

He said....

..."Why....yes. I am."

I just smiled knowingly and sort of melted into the backdrop of the bar.

I think the thing about this is people don't always appear to be dead even though they well may be.

This is contrary to what ya might run into here and that is why I bring this up.

All I want is honesty. Thats all. So clear it up for me. And others who read what I did.

Its not like me to even get involved with something like this and I certainly dont know any particulars, but I can tell you first hand from personal experience that The Bid has to be one of the most honorable people I have ever met.

And if you were not involved in the wager why stick your nose in now based on "something you thought you read". And why, even if it was true would you bring it up on a public forum. Thats what PMs are for. gfy

Are you all sure

that you would trust me? although im fairly new, I think next time we have a big carryover like today that we should already have a forged plan ready in case.

I would trust my Pick 6 money with anyone here b/c I know any of us screwed any of us over you would be shunned from the entire community.

Next time I would love to put in some money getting a pick 6 ticket together.
