Of course you do shill.
No track has room for both surfaces. And the fact that Oak and turf dont have turf has nothing to do whatsoever with what we are talking about. Nice strawman attempt though, anyway, it doesnt give trainers or horses the option of running on dirt. It replaces it, and its quite obvious that its nowhere near dirt.

Woodbine and Turfway lost many days to bad track conditions. Also, the tracks would get wet and freeze and then melt making the conditions very dangerous. Keeneland and Cali do not have these problems. I think their dirt surfaces could have improved by fixing them. But Woodbine and Turfway cannot control the weather.

To help you understand what that is, here is what you need to do.
Go outside after breakfast, and go and find a pond or a river or a swampy area. Pick up a rock right near the water and look underneath. If you have any questions after this, give us a shout and we can help you out with it.
Mommy and Daddy take you to Chuck E Cheese this past weekend?

actually I was sick, and i had to cancel a few meetings with you know who. I hope to make it up to her this afternoon after work

What do you mean trainers dont have the option to run on dirt. Trainers can go to Mountaineer or to Buleah to race on dirt if they desire. Granted that may not appeal to them but they have an option. And trainers at Turf and Oak dont have the option to run on Turf. So what is the difference.

Don't you think that further testing on synthetic surfaces should have been done though before installing them? It seems to me that the clumping, etc. going on with the polytrack isn't beneficial either.

Make it up to her?
Dude she was thrilled, you know damn well shes going out with other guys, you told me that.
Shes a pincushion. She will be bummed that you arent sick anymore, probably hoping you had malaria or something like that. You know, curable and not fatal but that would keep you housebound for a while.

The difference is that not one track in the US is ripping out turf courses and replacing them with poly. Thats the difference. And you know what? Since its like brown turf, thats exactly what they SHOULD do.

Not really. I mean, where are you going to test. I know this may not sound right, but the only way to test is to install it and race on it and then fix it. I also think that Cali and Arlington jumped the gun. It makes sense for Keeneland, Turfway and Woodbine.

Doest matter. You contention is that trainers do not have the option to run on dirt and I proved you wrong. Trainers at Oaklawn and Turfway do not have the option to run on turf so they need to ship. They can do the same with their dirt horses. So again, I make you look dumb.

He wants his friends company to succeed. They get paid after its installed, if you choose to rip it out later they keep the money. Its in his friends best interest that it be tested at 10 mill per shot, you know someplace around there.

Not in Cali they dont.

philcski 12-11-2006 12:18 PM

Oracle, what makes you so angry??

Relax, dude. The end of the world is NOT coming.

eurobounce 12-11-2006 12:18 PM

Hey Oralce AKA Liar--when are you going to show the board where I stated that I lived in Cincinnati? Because you said that I said I lived in Cincinnati.

I just think that if you make a $10 million dollar investment like that, you'd want to know what you were getting (or at least some clue as to what you were getting.) I guess that ignorance is bliss...

They still can ship. Mountaineer is in WV but trainers in KY can ship to WV to race. Why cant Cali trainers ship to Arizona.

NO NO NO!!! You are supposed to buy the hype and do the due diligence as you go along.
You think thats how Warren Buffet started? Doubtful.

Gimme a break. Nobody scopes unless they suspect respiratory problems related to the race that the horse just ran.

Both horses had the same illness?

I don't know you -- but pal -- you look like a liar to me.

Now now now. I'm sure its very healthy for a horses respiratory and immune system to be breathing polymer coated tires. The very suggestion that someday it may be found to be damaging is preposterous and unfounded!!!!

Well one horse just raced after getting lose and sliding about 40 feet on the parking lot. The other horse hasnt raced since before labor day and he has been sick off and on. I am not a trainer or a vet. I do not know why they decided to scope. Maybe they jock said something--I dont know. The point is that they came back clean.

Well Keeneland and Turfway just moved money from point A to B. To them it is no big deal. I cannot speak for Woodbine. But I agree with you and I think they got what they wanted.

Oracle--I am waiting...show me where I said I lived in Cincinnati. Please Oracle...AKA LIAR....show me this post. Show the board. Show the world where I said I lived in Cincy.

Those posts would have been long gone since the ESPN board was cleaned out. I DO remember the post about the psychic lady, though... haha.

lol they are right where you said you had no interest in turfway or poly.

Pointg5 12-11-2006 12:34 PM

Actually, Rootdog said Kycherub was posting on a CBS Board, claiming he was a stockbroker living in Cincy, then he showed up and changed his tune on ESPN saying he was Physical Therapist living in Louisville, but he was from Cincy...Then he shows up here under the alias of Eurobounce, I remember how Kycherub said he loved the term Eurobounce, hmm, just another similarity...

Lord, he said she said....I remember seeing Point on the CBS board saying he was a Dr, then shows up on the ESPN board saying he was a teacher and now here. See Point--give me some proof fellow. If you cant then give it a rest. It is really old.

Be like me saying I have "no interest" whatsoever in seeing one of my clients succeed because I don't own the horse. Obviously, I do.
