Word that was super scary until the 3rd period when the team that has danced these dances before clowned the Florida team that some people watch while waiting for the storm to pass.

Anything can happen but we just hung 7 on you and ran your goalie and now he has to come into MSG and beat Hank in a Game 7. God bless?

Dominating performance, top to bottom. Jumped on top early, controlled the neutral zone, caused turnovers in their offensive end and didn't let up.

A great confidence builder for Lundqvist and a great game to completely forget about on all sides of the puck for the Lightning. It isn't like we haven't seen this movie before...

The Rangers finally showed up. You need to hope they didn't get themselves a little too over-confident last night. It isn't like Tampa hasn't owned them in their building before or anything.

Hey isn't it time for a new Frank Lloyd Wright quote?

Good luck game 7. Perfect Friday night!!

Benny 05-27-2015 03:29 PM

Like how Hank has adjusted his play and the renewed energy Miller brought.
Game 7 in the garden should be a good one. Hopethey carry it to the finals and meet the Blackhawks. Shades of the 60's. One time for the Gumper :tro:

GBBob 05-28-2015 05:31 AM

Hawks now 31-0 when leading after 2..last loss? Game 7 against Kings LY. Anaheim has lost last 2 Game 7's at home. What a series it's been:tro:

Shaw and Keith with a big game last night and Q putting Toews and Kane on same line brings a lot of skill.

Last time two game 7's for the Conf finals...2000...Should be a fantastic Friday-Saturday doubleheader!

herkhorse 05-28-2015 05:48 AM

Sweet win for Chicago! Really glad they started that game at 8 eastern.

2 game 7's, can't beat that! ORIGINAL 6!!!!!

Let's get it rolling Herk. Need that first goal tonight

Rudeboyelvis 05-29-2015 08:57 PM

If the Lightning had Carl Hagelin and Rick Nash they would be completely unstoppable. May not show it in the box score, but these two are game changers.

Rudeboyelvis 05-29-2015 09:01 PM

Mike Milbury is clearly watching a completely different game. Or is a complete imbecile.

Danzig 05-29-2015 09:42 PM

Will the bishop take the king?
I love Henrik, have great respect for him.
That's the most good you'll ever see me say about the rangers. Don't like em. Don't hate em like the pens, but I sure dont like them.
More than anything tho....I love hearing espo on the radio when Tampa plays...and that's about all the good I have to say about Tampa!

Rudeboyelvis 05-29-2015 09:43 PM

uh Oh

knickslions2 05-29-2015 09:48 PM

Congrats Dan . Rangers sucked tonight. I'll save my money for the next year so I can pay my bar bill

Rudeboyelvis 05-29-2015 09:54 PM

Great series. Don't know what to say. I was confident the whole way, but they had me rattled at times for sure. Never batted an eye after game 6, having to head back to NY, this team has shown the resiliency that only the young possess.

They were best team tonight. Surprised Rangers played so soft

I'll take it easy on ya (can't vouch for Grunder tho...) ;)

They played tough. Bishop hasn't allowed a goal in MSG in 145 minutes (and counting). That was the difference tonight. Once again, as Seth pointed out last time, the ice was chewed up after 3 minutes after each period. Maybe they need new chillers or something. Crazy that they didn't haven't that figured out, but first blood was the key.

I'm going to win mega millions tonight then drown myself in Jameson

Bob, the entire area is on fire (for the most part) for this team. The problem that Tampa will always have is the transplants ( that make up a huge % of the population) that keep their loyalties to the area they come from. We'll always deal with it here, just a fact of life.

I would swear that Rudy Giuliani, when he was cleaning up Times Square, also secretly shipped every single fat slob from Staten Island -replete with his sweat-stained 5XL "Jetah" tee shirt and his Yankee's emblem calf tat - to Tampa.

They are unavoidable, and there can't possibly be any of them left up there.

Anaheim would be a godsend, as it will keep the transplanted Chicagoans home, and we can actually celebrate this team for Tampa, without dealing with the opposing team's transplanted fans...But I'm up for whoever.

Lightning played fine and deserve to move on to the SCF. Bishop made like 2.5 OK saves. They have as good a top 6 as any in the NHL.

But holy cow, was that an uninspired effort in front of Hank in a Game 7 at home. Add that to the no-show in Game 5 and this is hard to stomach from a Presidents' Trophy winning team.

If I'm Lundqvist, I'm seriously, seriously disappointed.
