I would love to play a pick 6. But it is so far out of my budget that I just sit back and dream :)

cowgirlintexas 06-11-2008 04:23 PM

Well... Who won the 9th?

F*ck me. I bet him in his debut for that exact reason. Then I missed him at $70+ in his maiden breaker and again today. Work work work.

DogsUp 06-11-2008 04:25 PM

Good job on the Pick 4 ArlJim

Sick thing is that I think he did it only $540 also....but a total of under 1k, which I know he puts through the windows...

Nice handicapping there AJ

Outstanding work!!! I think you need to change your name to "BelmontJim" the way you've been 'cappin Belmont... Congrats!

docicu3 06-11-2008 04:36 PM

Tremendous hit Jim.....Once again 5 of 6 doesn't get 'er done for me. That data base is paying off quite handsomely for you!!

ArlJim78 06-11-2008 04:36 PM

thanks everybody, yeah it was small enough that i could have played it, although I'm not always up for laying out that kind of investment. normally i'll stick with $1 play like pk4's. which i did have this one on an $18 play, getting back over $1,200.

it really is doc, you know i have been working on this for some time, but some people won't believe this. here is how i had ranked the winners of this sequence with my power ratings.

4th race winner, ranked 1st, paid $6.90
5th race winner, ranked 2nd, paid $21.00
6th race winner, ranked 1st, paid $47.80
7th race winner, ranked 1st, paid $5.30
8th race winner, ranked 2nd, paid $9.20
9th race winner, ranked 1st, paid $3.70

so all winners were either ranked first or second. i hope i can find a way to cash one of those big ones some day.

pointman 06-11-2008 04:46 PM

Jim, terrific job with a tough sequence, how you plucked that 6 in the 6th on a $210 ticket is beyond me. Too bad you didn't punch it, great capping though! Congrats on the pk4 hit!
