sorry bout that. You really did not learn anything useful? Like wiring stuff, etc... No electricity? The logic used in the course did not help modify the way you attack problems? (I was not a Physics major, Biochemistry research so I stumbled into this) And I will be as honest as possible. Since you may have a cynical outlook based on your experiences. I, no bullshit, really like teaching because the subject and the kids are very interesting. It is a hell of a lot of fun. And again quite honestly. What would you have wished to get out of a physics class even though you might not wanted to take it? |

i wasnt being sarcastic, i really did like physics and my physics teachers! i thought it was cool that my college professor taught us stuff like how to go down water slides as fast as possible!
that other stuff you mentioned, logic, wiring, electrical, etc, is stuff i either picked up from my dad or just stuff i self taught myself. school was painfully boring and uninspiring for me. i got more enjoyment in high school figuring out how to acquire all my tests for my classes within the first few weeks of school and how to make fake ASB cards. that, and i did enjoy running bets out to santa anita and hollywood park for my history and PE teachers. I spilled a beer on my nice Sony laptop... is sizzzzzed and then shut off on its own. I think I'm screwed. Any suggestions? I have it open and turned over so the beer can hopefully drain out. |

unplug it. if you are handy with tools, open it up and dry it out. otherwise, maybe take a hair dryer and use it to blow on where the liquid might be, using low heat. do not even think of turning it on for at least overnight. |
