Delusional? Because I disagree with a trainer and someone else about horses' movement...well, I don't know what she does...foaling and prepping yearlings or something?

uh, no...but that's what I used to do. And trust me it would serve you well to see them BEFORE they turn 2.

It is going to be awfully tough to beat out this thread when it comes to award time at the end of the year...

If we could just get a classic Satan's Twin undressing, it would be complete

It was a sure thing by page 5.

But seriously, this has to be a put-on, right?

I know she's borderline crazy, and wrong, well, borderline 100% of the time -- but nobody can really be this delusional and actually...mean it, right?

I didn't think that the Green Monkey's workout was great. I couldn't understand the hype. He crossfired all the way down the stretch in his workout. Big no-no.

You're full of sh!t for saying that, you probably wet your pants when you saw the work. I saw it and even to my "non-expert" eye it looked good.

Half Bro is Hip #269 by Not For Love, worked in 10.3

Also, immediate interesting kin.

Hip #198 is a half Bro to Kona Gold, By Unbridled Song, worked in 22.1
Hip #240 is a half Sis to Spun Sugar/Daaher, by Medglia d'Oro, worked in 10.2

But the book seems to be littered with very nice family.

It is not that hard to spot a winner from a 1 furlong workout. I know a guy that picked out winners from 1 furlong workouts all year long last year. I'll give him due credence over just about anyone else in the entire country because he has proven results from the last several years. His horses only win, he works closely with the best trainers and a big owner in the business, and he gets paid nicely to do what he does. He should though.

Does Drugs work for the the best trainers in the country or something? If so, I didn't know that...

I'm being dead serious. When the horses race, they win. Of course, he's got a lot of the horses with one of the most conservative trainers in the business, so they don't race that often.

by the time you see them at 2 they have undergone more changes...both natural and unnatural than you can imagine.

for example: a foal born so crooked he could hardly walk, and was by far the ungliest thing I have ever seen....had some surgical intervention, and grew up...and looked good enough that he became Cecil Seaman's (look him up if you don't know who he is and want to know his theories) pick of the sale....that horse has done exactly zero on the track.

and no I'm not a vet, it's not a profession I ever wanted to enter.

I actually try to be halfway decent to you and not pick on you because.....well, I just don't really enjoy making fun of people all that much. I also make a concerted effort to try to be a nice guy most of the time......even on-line.

But you make it really difficult to take you at all seriously when you post this crap.

YES... and you are making yourself look like even MORE of an phony by saying that. Cross firing ISNT EVEN POSSIBLE WHEN IN A FULL STRAIGHTLINE RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

blackthroatedwind 02-26-2008 02:55 PM

You know, I always wondered that if a little knowledge is a dangerous thing then what is no knowledge whatsoever.

Now I know.

Payson Dave 02-26-2008 02:56 PM

Jessica, you do realize don't cha that you are making claims to be able to do things that the best people in the business more often than not get wrong ....watching workout videos from the 2YO in training sales might help with a small piece of a pretty big puzzle....but even the best and most experienced sets of eyes need lady luck on their side.
