ought to be interesting.

It all hinges on what can be substantiated on what their agreement was, doesn't it. In the absence of proof of their agreement, she would fall back on industry standards, what Gallery has paid past trainers, or some other means of making her case. I believe I read that she has requested a jury trial, which would be wise as long as Gallery's counsel doesn't have anything to fire back at her. Borell is named as defendant in other lawsuits, but perhaps they relate to or were caused by her not getting paid (I'm speculating). I would think Gallery would look to settle this before going to court and gets ugly, but that may be presumptuous.

yes, it does.
i hope if he owes her the money, that he just pays it. otherwise, he may be paying a lot more than just her 10% of the purses.

I'm honestly surprised another prominent owner hasn't stepped in and paid her legal fees and/or hired her for the good PR alone.

:tro: Yeah I knew with all those trainers that have been crapped on by McIngvale, there had to be someone willing to stand up to him on her behalf. Of course Chuck's gonna be one of them. Glad to hear it.
