"Owner tearfully release AP after triple crown win"
“You’ve done more than I could have asked, and now you’re free to roam and run wherever you please,” said the horse’s owner, Ahmed Zayat, who, following American Pharoah’s victory in the Belmont Stakes, is said to have transported the 3-year-old colt deep into the country near a forest clearing, removed its saddle, and given the animal one last kiss on the forehead before setting it free. :D http://www.theonion.com/article/owne...after-tr-50605 |

Congratulations. Of course, it's a nice touch mocking others while feigning innocence, then putting the blame elsewhere. It's a wonder to behold, this sort of irrational unraveling. What would be cool is to have everyone reread these threads in two years. |

Zayat said most likely Haskell on ATR
|
Had the pleasure of meeting Justin Zayat yesterday. He was a really nice guy. Not that I was expecting any kind of scoop or truthful answer, but he said they were indeed looking at the Haskell & that AP came out of the race fine.
Take it for what its worth. |

and for those who 'don't like zayat' blah blah blah..... i hope you'd consider paynter-everyone gave up on that horse, but the owners didn't. how quickly memories fade. |

That would be incredible (for me) as I will have been present for 4 straight races of his if they in fact go this route, as unlikely as it is. At any rate, I'm over the moon that they will likely continue to run him. |

I'd go Haskell, JCGC and then Breeders' Cup Classic.
