FTS in a maiden claiming are the worst bets in racing. But why should logic have anything to do with this ****ing meet.

This is the second straight time One Sock Down's gotten bet off the board. He was terrible last time. Someone know something or just an enthusiastic ownership?

Here's hoping Poseidon's Warrior is the Speightstown offspring to select in the muddy Vanderbilt

The latter. Fantasy Lane is like the poor man's West Point.

I really would like to, this is his shortest distance yet, he has not been at his best off layoffs, tough to gauge how he takes to muddy track. You can toss the Belmont for obvious reasons but not sure there is an excuse for other wet track run. Having said that, I think he is just in a different class than the rest of this field.

I have no doubt that Shackleford's A race dusts this field. I just don't think that's what we'll get.

That is certainly the big question. I really wish I could have had more confidence in the other 3 legs of the pk4 and had more coverage here, but I can certainly understand why someone would take a stand against him today.

The fact that I used him in the pk4 should give everyone confidence to play against him.
